As opposed to the days when pilots had to manually do all of the trigonometry for takeoffs, landings and managing flight based on environmental conditions such as wind. Today all of that can be done with flight computers. Until recently, countries like Iran that were prohibited from purchasing modern planes (due to sanctions) still had to rely on pilots that did all of the work manually. Hell, planes used to require a 3rd pilot (the flight engineer) because planes were too complex for two people to operate. Back in the day, a masters degree was more or less mandatory for pilots. Most pilots had STEM degrees before modern computing was added to planes. But yes, clearly planes are too complicated today.
Yeah he's been told about the faulty flight automation systems before the public. I am willing to bet. And he's capitalizing and waiting for people to attack him so when the news breaks he can say he was right all along about the plane's poor engineering. Classic Trump bait and people are biting. My guess at least, considering the crashes and what happened.
Airlines around the world ground Boeing 737 Max jets after second fatal crash in 5 months Why has Trump's Secy of Transportation been silent on this ? elaine chow speaking on this would, at least, divert attention away from the photo showing her and the Chinese $ launderer (via the Chinese massage spa owner) together at Trump fund raising events https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/12/uk-has-?grounded-all-boeing-737-max-aircraft.html
Slightly off topic but I don't see how the airlines, in good conscientious, can keep flying 737 max 8. When half the industry is grounding their 737 max 8's, I don't see how the other half can justify flying theirs. If this happens a 3rd time in the near future and airlines didn't stop flying them... wow.... they should be sued into oblivion.
Yeah, I have also been told before the public that you lack a grasp of basic English comprehension and simple logic
