First loss with the 5 all star lineup according to someone on Reddit.

Edit: Verified. This is the first loss ever for the 5 All Star lineup.

Faried had 5 offensive boards tonight. That’s 5 extra possessions, without this we lose.

Starting him at Power Forward was the reason, we need to keep this lineup and move Gordon to back to his ideal position as the 6th man.

Now if we can land House back somehow then our playoff rotation is good enough to compete vs anyone. I’m confident.

    @basketballholic

    where you at
how come we win with both faried n capela lineup?

shouldn't both of these guys be unplayable vs worriers?
we even played them together for long stretches

Of course, I'd prefer for House to be the starting SF.

Agree with this. But, I have become "strangely" afraid of the officating too. Not to be paranoid, but it will be bad with the Lakers (if we face them) and the Warriors.

I thought the defense would collapse with Faried and Capela in the lineup together, making drives impossible, but I guess not. I'm still curious how much time Faried would log in a 7 game Warriors series.

I think he could easily play heavy minutes against some teams when we need the rebounding and make us significantly better.

Doesn’t matter, Rockets as currently constructed will stomp the Worriers regardless of KD. Health is the biggest factor....

OKC and Portland still look like a nightmarish matchup.

its harder to hit a shot when you werent involved or touching the ball for straight 5-10 possesions

Faried is a madman on the offensive glass and he has been since Morey got him. Ain't it wonderful?

No reason the 30 point streak and championship basketball have to be mutually exclusive

I disagree. We're all entitled to our opinions though.

To me, it's not difficult being a stand-still shooter. You literally get paid millions of dollars to be there, catch a pass, and then shoot the ball - often times wide open.

It's not like we have Kyle Korver type players who thrive off movement and need it before catching the ball and shooting in rhythm.

Now there's definitely things Harden could do better to make this Rockets team even better, but the amount of people throwing him under the bus after this game is utterly absurd.

3pt shooting is not a weight lifting
    its a psychology thing
    involvement counts
    the ball has energy
you stay woke when you are called upon often
when you are forgotten about you fell to sleep and miss the shots
