Yes, and that was after struggling a bit with his shot in the first 3 quarters. Was surprised to see Nurse play him as long as he did in the 4th quarter...and glad it worked out well for the team.

Yeah, that will be interesting to see. Will obviously depend on a few things, like how comfortable Lin gets in the system and how long it takes VanVleet to get back into game-shape. Norman Powell's numbers may change, too.

 

How did the scrub do?

 

Assuming you are asking about Lin, but unsure since you said scrub. Had a tough game offensively last night, but so far he's been solid for the Raptors. Listening to the commentators during the broadcast, they sound generally impressed with Lin's playmaking and defense...they mention his BBIQ as being high pretty often...but definitely see that Lin's offense hasn't been as efficient as it's been in the past (completely understandable considering how new he is to the team). Overall so far he's adapted better to the team, and Coach Nurse feels good enough to give Lin the most minutes off the bench. It's only been three games, but generally he's been ok.

 

Which 3 years? Certainly not last year. He had an excellent playoffs. DeRozan ... not so much. But I agree, he choked before last year.

You might get a more real opinion from Jessie Smollett.
