I assumed that was why he did the McHugh one. LMJ is a Pitching Ninja regular. McHugh's slider is nasty, though.
This was on my recommended video tab on youtube and I figured this would be a good place to post this. It's a review of what this guy considers the greatest pitched inning ever.
That's great stuff, both JV and the guy who made the video. Should be re-titled "greatest pitched inning that I've seen that we have this data for, which basically covers the past 6 years or so". Fun fact: 3 teams have had an immaculate inning 6 times: Yankees, Dodgers and Astros. I could give yall 1962 guesses and you wouldn't name all 6 of the Stros. Fun fact 2: Wade Miley did it as a rookie
RHP with some heat and a breaking ball...then add the change for LHB...those tend to be good pitchers.
I would be shocked if Bukauskas isn't an awesome reliever this year. Everything gets a little more muddled when going starter innings comes into play, but he's pure filth.
Coming out of of college, he was supposed to have a live fastball with an elite slider. Adding a plus-plus changeup makes him very interesting...
He definitely can throw some great pitches, but trying not to get too optimistic until I can see him do it consistently and with some control.
He'll be in the bullpen this year, because he has nasty ****. I see no reason why he can't be in the rotation next year.
The worst is he takes a few AAA starts to figure it out, or maybe ends up in the bullpen for a couple of months.
