Wow, guess Harden made things personal for Pippen.

The media has been character assassinating Harden since the moment the talk of OKC underpaying him became him being greedy

He'll just have to win 2 more MVP's then and then they won't be tied anymore.

The media can and will continue the Harden hate until Harden wins a chip. Curry has 3 of those (albeit thanks to multiple all stars). Regardless, Harden will not get ANY love until he wins the big one.

You guys are all hating on the OP because he doesn’t appear to be a liberal. He makes a very valid point. Get over your liberal bs. I’ve got news for you...this isn’t the Twitter sphere. Everyone here isn’t a raging liberal (although most of you are).

Not only does he make a valid basketball point, but he’s completely right.

To be fair, Harden has played almost 80 more games. Curry spent a lot of his early years in Golden State injured. He pretty much lost an entire season.

Reality is, Rockets basketball is boring to watch. I've had league pass for 10 years straight, this year ive watched like 2 games. Reason I'm not complaining? James Harden. Even then, something has got to give... It's been dribble, dribble, iso, iso, shot clock violation for to Long. Yes, we have James, NBA records being beat, and a western conference finals appearance, but that's really it. What's frustrating, just last year everyone thought playing with James would be fun. Now even James is having second thoughts. Eventually, hopefully not, there could be a mutiny. We need to adjust asap.

I want to preface this by saying I know it may sound snarky, but I mean it sincerely. Would you prefer the offense was worse (scored less points) but was more entertaining for you to watch? Less iso, more ball movement, getting more guys involved, but scoring less points. Would that be a good thing for the Houston Rockets?

This is Kevin Durant's fault. When he went to the Warriors, he so completely screwed parity that now everyone obsesses about stuff like triple doubles and scoring streaks and annual player awards, because nobody expects to win the championship.

Yes, fans always paid attention to these things. But it has escalated to the point of influencing games (I'm thinking, e.g., of Thunder players yielding rebounds to Westbrook, and Harden playing in garbage time to get 30) and has become a substitute for thinking seriously about winning a title.

i mean you could say lebron did it before kd, showing that you can jump from team to team in your prime and play next to some of the top players and just win that way
