Keeping House would be the only victory of this season. Unless the Rockets suddenly went on a tear when Capela gets back. Don't know......injuries, apathy, bad signings. As much as I like CP3 When Healthy, he is seldom seen. I have even found myself on ESPN Trade Machine, trying to find the jerk team that will take him so we can open up our salary cap.
Draining season = draining mindset I am convinced that next season will be a positive regression to the mean. This season has just been one thing after another, and I cannot possibly imagine next year being like this. It’s GOT to be better.
If one good thing can come out of this I hope it humbles Morey and he loses that pretentious, cocky attitude that he has.
Some of us have to let it out here lol . When rooting for something you love , it's hard to keep perspective
Whenever I'm feeling disappointed or dissatisfied with the Rockets, I step back and remember none of this impacts my money. None of this really matters. I close the Clutchfans tab, then immerse myself in other hobbies - Kpop Girl groups, Black Romantic Comedies, Cartoons/Anime, rec league basketball, Full disclosure: My other hobbies stink.
of course, are you saying pops won't get the most out of this group? hell just call a time out and draw a play. I'm sure grass is greener on the other side.
We didn't have this problem a year ago, we were blowing teams out so need to call a time out and regroup, well this year is different, we have seen leads slowly slipping away way too many times for a coach not to call a time out , get a tech, fire the team up...
Phil Jackson, widely regarded as one of the top coaches in the league, typically let his players try to dig themselves out of their own holes instead of calling timeouts. Spurs fans on Spurstalk have wanted Pops fired on multiple occasions. Point is, fans are consistently dumb as ****, especially when they are mouthing off like they know better than actual coaches and GM's. They certainly aren't the ones on the sidelines actually feeling the flow of the game. Fans aren't the ones watching the players in practice and in constant communication with them. Fans definitely aren't the ones taking their teams deep into the playoffs. Fans definitely don't know their heads from their asses most of the time.
CF so thirsty to hate it's own. Dude is getting paid peanuts, expected to make minutes against a team with five players who's been all stars plus one injured boogie.
He's still going to get a contract But people talking about him getting $10 mill a year It's probably dropped to under $5mill a year. Still more than we offered
