With Harris, Reddick, and Butler they have 3 above average 3 point shooters along with Embiid to go down low. Glad Brand decided to go for it instead of just sitting on assets like Ainge. Eventually those assets might start depreciating with not being used. That is kind of the problem with Morey. CP3's contract is going to be become terrible in 2 years. You have a two year window to go all in.
The Heat are better than their record. Also Thibodeau is a dumbass for not taking the Richardson deal when it was on the table.
Came here to post that. LOL Did the Wolves really turn down Josh Richardson? Good game. Heat took 3 point lead. Durant nails 3. Cousins fouled with 5.4 Waiters missed 3 at the buzzer Warriors win.
Younger than Covington, better offensive player (and still a good defender), cheaper contract...Miami also offered at least a 1st rounder. Turned that down cause they didn't want to take back Weighters...not sure they made the right choice, Saric is young, talented and on a great contract for two more years, but just doesn't look like a good fit with Towns...if they can't get something good out of him that trade will turn out really meh. I mean, Covington is good, but they might have traded LaVine, Markkanen and Dunn for Butler just to take back Covington...Richardson and a 1st rounder would've been a better package, even with Weighters in imo.
Pretty funny that Simmons taking a three and missing it is literally the first story on ESPN... what a joke.
This is a rather silly comment. Giannis really started to rise as a star player 3 years ago. His team made 2 playoff appearances during that time and lost in 6 and 7 games respectively. This team is the first really good team he's been a part of. If they go 1st round and out and he plays poorly, then you'll have a bit of a point. But for now it's just silly talk. I mean, someone could have said the same of James Harden his first 4 seasons with the Rockets. 3 of them were 1st round and out. But that would have been silly talk too. Give the dude a break.
