Exactly, with no more trade rumors or additional pressure on our guys, they can focus on playing. Yes, I get that this loss sucks, and the Rockets have served up a smorgasbord of such losses this year, but they did score a shitton of points on one of the best defenses in the league. PG was white-hot, and Faried made some defensive mistakes--but that's why he's a great backup and not necessarily a great starter.

You know who's coming back soon though? The Swiss Beast. He wouldn't have let Westbrook score the easiest layup of the entire night.

Faried hedged wayyyy too high on the screen and couldnt recover in time. By the time Faried realized he made the mistake, bucket was scored.

What is bad, is that when the Rockets lead hit 20 points, everyone that has followed the Rockets closely, knew the Thunder would take the lead at some point.

Hell, a month ago the Rockets would have blown a 25 point lead and be down 12 with 6 minutes left.

I don’t know if anyone else is, but I am sick of using the trade deadline as an excuse for holes that are not addressed during the off season. Is it really fair to expect adding a key piece with 30 games left will result in everyone being on the same page and ready for the playoffs?

We have an owner that is scared shitless of the repeater tax, so we have a GM that cannot do anything to improve the team... so we go into the season with out any depth and no small forward... couple that with bad injuries and inconsistent effort and I’m surprised we are over .500%.

Also there is no way in hell Harden wins the MVP.

Loser attitude, D’antoni. How do you expect to justify giving away a 20+ point lead in the third quarter by saying: “Welp, that’s a pretty good team over there. This should’ve been a close game this whole time”?

That means he hasnt had time perfecting that pass. That needs to be a well practiced play down the stretch.

Logic goes completely out the window when the Rockets lose. Lmao. It was a shitty and embarrassingly bad loss but you guys read way too much into this. Too low when we lose and too high when we win. Ride it out and see what we look like in April.

But seriously, I can't remember the last time Tucker played generally well.

    Harden has a bum shoulder?

Keep chucking step back 3’s in a crucial 4th quarter.

MDA doesn’t do anything. A ****ing hamster could draw up better plays than that.

I’m frustrated too but even you will probably wake up tomorrow and realize that while we have many shortcomings we don’t suck. We’ve got a long way to go and we have way too many games that we’ve given away, but I’ve been around long enough to know that even as a 6 seed, a team that peaks at the right time can go all the way. We’ve still got room for improvement with injured players coming back and a chance for the team to really gel heading into March. Time will tell.

Honestly deserves to miss playoffs altogether. This includes harden and CP, harden because he just decides to take plays off on defense. It’s great what he’s been doing and he’s the best post defender, but he simply just takes plays off sometimes on both ends, and doesn’t move on offense without the ball. Every single piece on this team has an issue, from top to bottom

    nobody likes the truth

we beat okc on christmas without cp3, we beat the celtics and warriors without cp3

danuel house is a more important player to this team than cp3

^ This, but also it would be nice to call a timeout there. Too bad we don't have a coach

May I remind you that his shoulder is bothering him? Didn't you watch the 3rd before entering the fourth he's getting treatment.

MDA... dude consistently is late on momentum slowing TO's to regroup, and has no ability to design inbounds plays for open shots, he basically rolls out the ball & let's Harden & Cp3 just wing it every damn time in a close game situation.

After coming off a 65 wins season, you really think we should have let him go? You really think Harden would have wanted that, no its ridiculous. This year and next year would be crap anyways. And who knows what the league would look like in two years. Its a risk you had to take, and Cp will only get better.
