Joe Lacob: No Team Will Outspend Warriors

Joe Lacob said that money was not going to be an issue in keeping together the core of the Golden State Warriors.

“We can do whatever we want (financially)...And you should expect that that’s not going to be a reason this team...doesn’t stay great going forward. We have the capital to pay our players what they deserve. And we will," said Lacob.

Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will all be free agents within the next two years.

Lacob added that the Warriors' winning culture is the team's best selling point in retaining and attracting players.

“All we can do is be the best organization we can, treat players the best we can, provide the best environment, have the best management, have a great arena. I mean, all the things we do. The culture of the organization, I think, speaks for itself. Then the chips fall where they may...we’ll be aggressive. Nobody’s going to outspend us. Nobody’s going to outwork us".

It helps when you get all of your big 4 to take a pay cut.

Golden States 5 all star players and 3 substitutes are the best 8 man rotation in basketball History no way MDA can come up with a lineup to beat these guys

You want to be the team to finds Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, not the one that pays them.

Wait. Hold on. That doesn't make sense.

Outspend = Durant take a paycut, role players take a paycut, Demarcus Cousins take a paycut.

They are going to relocate from very poor area to the nation's richest area in July. They can raise ticket prices. He owns the new Chase Center.

Very easy to say after winning 3 championships and selling merchandise to the great and fearsome NBA bandwagon. We'll see how it plays out.

Joe Lacob net worth is 1.7B and his buddy has an 800M net worth and spending all this money. Meanwhile Tilman worth 3B can’t even sigh House for the bare minimum.

Do you actually think that's the reason, or are you trying to make a joke?

House is an undrafted G-leaguer holding out on an NBA team that's desperate for roster flexibility.
