    I'm not fan of President Trump, but can I say...what a time to be alive.

    Feels like if this were 2015 and candidate Clinton was saying that we needed to de-escalate the show of force the FBI uses a lot of liberals would have been supporting her.

    It's a weird time when liberals are trying to defend the virtue of law enforcement and conservatives want to disband various law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

    Right. Almost a flip on certain things - you started to see this early on in 2016 and it has continue.

    Ferguson wasn't too long ago. Trump saying more force is needed by law enforcement - bang their head against the wall, or something to that effect even more recent. So, has he evolved and now making a correction? Or does he want special treatment only for certain type of folks?

    Hardly necessary, but let me just throw this here as another example of him "evolving".



    Nevertheless, if this can start at the FBI, perhaps it can start to roll down to local police departments, where de-escalation is sorely needed. But I wont' hold my breath.

    Also conveniently left out of trump's tweet... the other idiot son exacerbated the situation by saying he didn't remember who he spoke with. And also conveniently left out of the tweet, the numerous lies the other idiot son said about the meeting including at least one that trump (the idiot father) told him to say.

    Gee, stone thinks he is innocent? Wow, first I have heard that. Gee, an indicted person thinking they are innocent... that is so rare, he must be innocent! Darn judges keeping him from telling people he is innocent!!

    More likely, the judge doesn't want stone to disclose info that would make the trial difficult or impossible. But sure... side with the criminal, er, accused criminal.

    But I know the important question is... what color hat is stone wearing?
