    I really don't want to be that guy, also cause i love Capela, but DeAndre is basically Capela, and would make our best asset available to be moved for a star so...

    Is nurkic and mirotic really worth more than that line up and 1-2 firsts? It is the best they can do for a small market team is trade for good players on good deals and love, holiday, capela and gordon can carry an offense.

    The best they can do is trade everyone for picks, hope they get another superstar and have the owner sell the team and move it to Seattle.
    Also Love isnt on a good deal.

    I don't think it is terrible for NY honestly. They are gonna have a ton of cap space, a top 3 pick, and possibly another lotto pick

    it wouldn't be terrible if they had a better track record on rebuilding but they don't. they're not going to end up with any true stars in the league and will end up maxing out some mediocre "star". all these years, the talk is knicks are going to end up with....yeah still waiting

    The flip of that deal is trade tucker and gordon for 3-4 first picks and send capela and 7-8 picks to new orleans for davis and mirotic.

    The problem is no one is helping the rockets. Even though tucker and gordon are easily worth 2 mid level first picks, teams know they would be used to get davis and back off.

    I lIke Luka and the unicorn but neither a slam dunk. KP had a bad injury and Luka could sophomore slump like Mitchell, Tatum, etc..., did. Still, a good move for the Mavs and I Iike it because it puts pressure on Morey and the Rox.

    You dont trade a young star 5 minutes after he asks out for freaking capspace if you are going to rebuild.
    If the Knicks planning to rebuild then just go ahead and give them the Darwin award no need for any other contestants.
