Yeah that's not true at all though. The issue was the removal of a statue, not everyone who was protesting the removal of it were "white supremacists" and not everyone who showed up to counter protest was Antifa. Obviously the "white supremacists" and Antifa are terrible people, but it's unfair to lump everyone in with them. Trump says stupid things all the time, but his "good people on both sides" comment was spot on and perhaps a bit too nuanced for small minds that desire to demonize everyone who disagrees with them.

Exactly. Trickle down economics has always been a scam.

This isn't working. How long do people have to put up with this to see that it isn't working? Where has it worked?

The march about the statue was organized ahead of time by a white supremacist group (and advertised honestly) and they marched chanting white supremacist slogans.

Generally on the statue issue I think there are good people on both sides, but at that particular event...

Even at that event there were people there who were not white supremacists (though obviously the event the night before with the Tiki torches is a different story), they just opposed destroying art and history. Now that said, obviously there were a lot of white supremacists there and you are correct in stating that the group who was really pushing the march was a white supremacist group.....but it's kind of like how just because the Women's March was organized by anti-Semites it doesn't mean that everyone who showed up was antisemitic though I'm sure many were.

In both instances, there were a lot of people who refused to show up due to the kinds of people who were organizing the events, but it didn't stop everyone and so a bit of nuance is important.

Don't forget to add that he grew up in public housing and had public education.

I wonder where he'd be without that...probably not a billionaire. Maybe dead.

so when a white guy grew up poor and lived in a housing project, you find that hard to believe?

He worked his way up to CEO, just like you worked your way up from fry cook to fry cook supervisor. Neither alone qualifies a person to be president.

You are correct. Which makes AOC’s tweet all the more WTF.

It's amusing how often you guys like to take her out of context. She was obviously talking about working your way up politically. Schultz has no political experience whatsoever and he's considering using his bank roll to run for President.

Not even close to the point I was making.

Schultz here is attacking AOC for policies that helped him.

AOC advocates for the very policies (Free/affordable housing and education) that he used to pull himself and his family out of poverty...and now he's trying to shut and lock that door behind him.

France says hello. They are desperately trying to get their own wealthy class to return -- many have left the country after their government financially punished them for years.

So I suspect you think he deliberately misspelled it? If so, that's a risk that's not worth it, IMO. Because you end up looking like the very thing you are criticizing.

And anyone that is a Bernie supporter.....well, you can figure out the rest.

She is also pushing the lie that she is a hood girl from the Bronx when she grew up in a very affluent upstate neighborhood.

Neither is an issue in itself, but the constant lying to pander to your demo is what made dems go away from Hil.

Trash sells, as we can see from the length of this thread. You're all to blame really.
