Is this thread serious? Is my sarcasm meter broken and in need of repair? This isn’t serious, right?

    Faried? 25 ppg? Easily? Tf?

Right I get the whole 'scheme' argument, but we dont really have the competent shooting necessary to execute this 'scheme' .. why not just play to strength and use the best guys? If we had knockdown shooters I would agree with you but...

I would replace PJ with Tucker if we are talking about energy lineup. If we were talking about scoring lineup then I would add EGO.

I think EGO balances Fareid's lack of score better than PJ

Another vote for Faried as a backup big.

He and Nene theoretically could be platooned depending on matchups, in that Nene can take the slower and bigger bigs while Faried is of course suited to small ball.

I'm saying this based on his plays with the Rockets so far. He's had so many missed point-blank layups. If those went in, he would be scoring 25 pts or more. Perhaps his height is his achilles heel as many have pointed out or maybe lack of discipline down low (which can be taught). He's had a 21 and 19 pt games in the 5 games he's played with the Rockets, so why is it so hard to believe? Again, not saying he will. Just saying if he improves his post finishes in traffic with all the offensive rebounds (19 in last 5 games) he has been getting, I believe he can score at that level.

There's some Clutchfans out there who believe Harden is actively not trying to make the team better and in it for his stats, so, I guess James Harden is the reason Faried is being held back and not averaging 25 ppg.

But... having both Cap and Faried will simply clog the lane...

Yes, we don’t have the best shooters but a 34 to 35 percent clip, which most of our role players are capable of, should suffice.

I know what you are saying but having two non shooters in the front court would not be playing to our strength...

The real issue is that we need to address the hole at backup center and lack of a starting calibur wing...
