I’ve never understood why people criticize local broadcasters for being completely biased and fans of the team we are supporting.

I love the fact that they are biased and take some of their biased comments/in-game opinions with a grain of salt.

 

Bill is a fantastic announcer and commentator. I am surprised he never went national with ESPN, Fox, or ABC. IMO, he is better than many who are on the national scene. As fans, we have been fortunate to have him for so long with the Rockets.

 

The Bill and Calvin duo will be all time GOAT for me. There isn’t anyone who can replace Bill and Calvin’s hilarious commentary.

Most of all thre commentators are bias. National feed has got to be the worst. Doris was very difficult to listen to, both boring and bias. I almost ended up muting the game.

 

Because I am a fan of both basketball and the Rockets - and when you are a fan of the sport and not just the team, you appreciate people who call it like they see it, and just don't blindly root for the home team. Don't you find it annoying when other team's announcers are biased against Harden?

In any case, there's a reason our announcers are listed as the worst in the league.

Lol. He's using it as an adjective, which should be "biased". That might be the most mutilated word on the internet.

"Bias" is rarely used as a verb, more commonly as a noun. The way people usually type it (like this guy), is the equivalent of saying "Doris is salt" when you mean to say "Doris is salty".

When I was a kid, I'd turn down the volume on the Rockets TV broadcast and turn the radio on to Gene Peterson.

 

I hope Bill keeps announcing longer than Milo did.

 

I caught enough of Bill and Calvin during the t-mac/yao years until Calvin was fired for the charges from his daughters. It was a good combo but after Calvin it was bad man. Real bad.
