Barring Trade or Buyout Market or Injury.

The Playoff Roster and Depth Chart is as follows:

    CP3 - Harden - Rivers
    Harden - Rivers - Ego
    Ego - House - Green
    PJ - Fareid - ClarK
    Capela - Fareid - Nene

    Left Overs - Ennis/Knight/Chriss/Hartenstein

    Without HOUSE

    CP3 - Harden - Rivers
    Harden - Rivers - Ego
    Ego - Green - Ennis
    PJ - Fareid - ClarK
    Capela - Fareid - Nene

    Left Overs - Knight/Chriss/Hartenstein

    Does this look about right?
How good or bad is this lineup?
Where are the weak points? Weakest Points?

Let's talk after the deadline. Or at ASW.

At Lakers forum, they think they can improve the rosters more than other teams before trade deadline.

I do not see it because they are not planning to add future salary.

a guy in another thread suggests we should trade Harden because of how Tilman and Murray are mistreating Danuel House. So I don't think Harden's gonna be here in April.

It's hard to deal with GS. It has to make a good trade by offering future picks.
They are going to have 3 all-stars on the floor at any minute. When Harden/Capela are on the bench, they can beat inconsistent Paul/Gordon.

Everyone thinks injuries will magically disappear on day 1 of the playoffs and not come back till the end. It would be an insane stroke of luck if the oldest team in the NBA showed up to the playoffs healthy and, despite being overplayed, stayed healthy.

Not to mention we are just dog **** at the forward position. Unless we're starting Gordon at the 2 and Harden at the 3, in which case our bench is: Nene, Faried, Clark, Ennis, Green, Rivers. That's a horrendous bench and it is somehow even more undersized than the starters.

We need a starting quality big forward. The Warriors + Cousins playing like Bogut 2.0 is a different animal. Their depth is not excellent and Livingston/Iguodala have declined. We need to be ready to compete with their bench and not fatigue our guys so that our shots don't stop falling, it is the key.

All this is assuming it's the same Chris Paul and Eric Gordon, which we don't know for sure is going to happen. Which is why we need House TOO. We need House and someone like D Carroll or James Johnson so that we can pretty much bench Green/Ennis/Clark without having to reduce the rotation to 7.

Man I really hope Paul and Gordon are not washed.

    This season Paul
    FG% 41%
    3FG 35%

    This season Gordon
    FG% 38%
    3FG 31%

Playoffs are tougher than regular season. I believe shooting is the key.

    JJ Redick 34 years old
    FG% 45%
    3FG 38%

You do realize that JJ's playoff shooting numbers (specifically his 3pt%) are worse than his regular season numbers for the past 3-4 seasons right?

    Big salary and wash-up? unlikely.
Paul and Gordon has declined so quickly.
Age, injury and overweight causes decline

If House comes back he should be the starting SF. That gives the team more size at the forward position and EGO would go back to his sixth man role, giving the second unit offensive focus.

Not sure if EGO would be happy to return to a bench role though.

Playoff roster before all star break?? Meaningless.

It's like you haven't been following the Rockets this past decade.
