I would take just ONE all star, and CP3.

He still lost in 6 tho and that team didn’t even have KD yet.

Ya he played great but what standard is that? He lost.

What about Lebron getting swept last year in the finals by about 15+ points each game.

Or the year before with kyrie I might add we’re they won exactly 1 game?

We can’t talk about Hardens shooting in the playoffs.

But Ima spit you some facts not opinions.

Cause this is the real standard everyone else not on GS needs to reach.

Who’s won more games over the warriors reg season and playoffs combined than the rockets since the dubs got KD? Rockets

What team has a winning record against GS since they got KD? Rockets

What team has won the most western conference playoffs series over the last 4 years outside of the Dubs? Rockets.

Now what does that all have in common? Ohh ya James Harden the MVP is the best player on the rockets and he doesn’t play with a loaded team full of all stars.

So really everyone needs to get on Hardens standard.

seriously he’s doing all this with no allstars on his team. Good players? Yes but no allstars.

Get harden a Paul George or even Kyrie Irving and the rockets are the champs last year and going for b2b this year.

He doesn’t need 3-4 allstar players to win. He just needs one and we’ve seen that with cp3 who’s old injured and while effective I don’t think anyone would say he’s better than what Lebron and steph have been playing with the last 6 years.

Harden is the only superstar held to Lebron and steph Standard in terms of winning chips. Not AD not Russ not Kawhi. Harden is the only one yearly that has media pressure to win the chip by himself every year.

    He’s that great.

You dont get it.....at that point lebron was alredy accepted by the public ...he already played on the most stacked team for 5 years in a row and the public has already shut up because he had the rings
on the other hand yes , even that year he WAS PLAYING with 2 allstars and plethora of good role players...they werent injured the entire year....so he could be resting and coasting through entire rs and playoffs until warriors
something harden never ever in his career had luxury to do
and its completely different ballgame when you are rested and bouncy and you have help AND YOU PLAY IN THE EAST
its a blasphemy and sac rilege sas got it right!

The entire point was that nobody criticized Lebron for not winning. There’s always gonna be the, “but did he win though” clan but you can shut MOST(not all) of them up with numbers. It’s a lot harder to do that when you’re shooting in the 20s from 3 and you have really bad close out games.

Anthony Davis is a media darling I get it...but 30/13/54% is not his fault he lost. Russ gets just as much criticism as harden and kawhi is a media darling as well.

Y’all can go back and forth all day. But there are many reasons why harden gets criticized for the playoff shortcomings. A lot of them are exaggerated and hate but he isn’t the same guy in the playoffs. There’s the media/ fans version of harden in the playoffs(exaggerated/untrue), clutchfans version of harden in the playoffs(same player, no drop off, again not true) and the truth. And I’m extremely appreciative of the work dude puts in and that he’s on our team. He’s literally carrying us to the playoffs

also remember he did have kyrie and/or love available in regular seasons and previous playoffs rounds even in game 1 of that series kyrie did play and played well

so he didnt have to get exhausted carrying the team for the entire season like harden always does

also underrated fact lebron was doing all his work IN THE LEASTERN CONFERENCE

was he in the east, harden, i have no even the slightest doubt ,would get 60 wins guaranteed every damn season

the toughest team he ever faced in the east was PG's indiana with Hibert and west ???!!
and he was struggling to even beat them despite having 2 damn allstars always playing alongside him

he played on the most stacked team in the last 8 years, he was granted a free road to finals with bonus to rest in RS and 2 allstars help... compare that to blolodbath in the west where harden has to fight each game tooth and nail in order to even smell the playoffs

ITS LAUGHABLE how little substance there really is behind the lebron's highly praised career achievements

you give CP3 2 allstars and leastern conference competition for 8 straight years..you give him an open road to finals each year i bet you any money hed won a ring or 2

I didn’t once compare them I brought up his stats because he was brought up. I also said he’s a media darling. I’d never say he was better than harden nor would I take him over Harden. Guards impact>bigs

This is what I’m talking about though. You want non rockets fans to see the greatness in harden, but you say brons career achievements are LAUGHABLE. You want to discuss what his teams look like without him?

look buddy, i made like 10-20 sound points in my previous several posts to you where i simply nailed it, where I broke into pieces your claims and transformed your blasphemies into dust, throwing them into the ocean to the point that absurdity of your delusion was made clear like a daylight.... and all i get in response is this weak attempt to derail the discussion?!

go back and answer my irrefutable argumentation point by point.... until you do so i will consider i won this debate by 30 points blowout

and only after you address all my claims point by point , only then i will discuss 'what lebrons teams look without him',
its not that i cant dispel that fallacy as well, its not that i am not willing to do it, its just that it seems you are not in the best state of mind to accept whatever is offered

I get that his efficiency goes down in the playoffs but so does kd curry everyone except Lebron I’ll give Lebron that.

With that’s said he does need to shoot better from three. 30% is not gonna cut it if he’s gonna lead houston to the finals. He’s gotta atleast be at 35+

But the reality is still the same. After the GS guys and Lebron harden has literally had the most playoffs success out of any other nba player leading a team and nobody media/fans seem to recognize this.

Like Hardens not even playing that well from a shooting standpoint has no allstar help and he’s still winning playoff series.

I’m not saying he doesn’t need to be better cause he needs to be for the team to win the chip but he’s some how still doing better in the playoffs the last 4 years than anyone else ij the west besides the warriors.

2 wcf forced a game 7 in 1 a second round appearance and a first round beating to GS.

Media needs to get on guys like AD and Russ and PG13 when they flame out in the first round yearly. As bad as AD is he’s avtually won a playoff series Russ and PG13 haven’t won a series in a while east or west in PG13 case.

Kawhi we’ll see what he does now that he’s healthy and actually playing.

Nice praise except not sure why "in terms of putting the ball in the hole" had to be added.

James has good passing skills as well.

Very well articulated brother. Nice facts too.

@rocketseagles07 and many others just don’t get it. I’ll choose to not let their narrowminded double standards surpass the first level of minor annoyance because you just can’t fix that.

Moving on, Harden is not only the best player on the planet because he’s unguardable, but he carries his team like no other player I’ve seen (outside of Hakeem) that either has key player after key player go down to injury and/or simply have an inferior supporting cast compared to the rest of the contenders EVERY SEASON.

During his current run of God mode, he beat a healthy mid-season form Worriers team at Oracle BY HIMSELF. Regular season or playoffs, it still matters and means more than many would think.

Rockets I believe have the Worriers’ number now as long as CP3/Harden/Capela are healthy. Yes that’s a sad caveat but still viable.

Harden has given his all as a Rocket and I totally respect him for that. He gave his all against the Nets but Dinwiddie pulled a “Harden” against a very shorthanded and tired Rockets team. When they went to OT I did not feel good about the Rockets winning. Just felt Harden especially as great as he is was just getting too gassed from the colossal load he’s carried every year, but this year in particular.

Simply Amazing and I won’t ever take Harden for granted as a Rocket. He’s a GOAT and I hope he wins a ring when all is said and done because there is no superstar more deserving than him.

Harden being the face of the Houston Rockets is not a gimmick like most other “stars” of their respective teams. Harden is the ultimate blue chip player to build around.
