Please trade both Paul & Melo (small filler to open roster spots) to the Lakers for the youth Ingram, Ball & Kuzma with Rondo & KCP works. Everyone is happy —> Paul is at home with friends and still gets paid. Maybe the Lakers get one championship. (Health and logic says no but maybe) We are out of cap hell and the youth players (rookie or value 3 year contracts) blend perhaps to perfectly with Harden and Capela. Harden leads us to multiple championship... Rondo & KCP helps out this year, too. Wishful thinking

What if we are targeting one of their centers? Both making the minimum. Chandler is eligible for trade February 6th, could be the reason for the wait.
We just got Faried. We have Capela Nene Chriss and Hartenstein under contract already. Hiiiiiighly unlikely we add another C to the roster and have 6 centers out of 15. Yes. I know Chriss and Hartenstein don't play. Yes I would love Zubac. But the signing of Faried might indicate a trade of Melo for a C isn't happening...
So who are we shipping over aside from Melo...we have to many BIGS on the roster now with the add of Faried and our own bigs along with the incoming C you propose. Would like KCP return!
1000%. The crap on here about how we mistreated Melo is such BS. Sure to protect relationships behind the scenes we project that he has been nothing but great and accepting of his role and duties. Nothing could be further from the truth. This team needed him from the outset and the exact reasons you mention are his complete unwillingness to change are the reason why we lost nothing and are better off without him on the court. I see the same destinations. We will take anything but we need that damn roster spot and people need to get their head out of their ass about House. Kid has earned a contract with us. Solid consistent hardworking player from the jump that will only get better. I'll take one of him over ten Melo's after the crap he pulled.
