Anybody who's seriously pushing this narrative needs to relax. Morey's done an amazing job, we've been one of the most successful teams in the league, mostly thanks to him and our front office.

We've had a terrible season, one that has pushed me to the edge. That being said I don't blame him, or his moves in the offseason for this monstrous start to the year. It's hard to imagine losing Ariza (the only rotation piece in the WCF) would take a team who was ready to win a championship, to a 14th seed team spiraling out of control. The reason that's hard to imagine is because that's not why we've failed for the most part. It's been a combination of things, but mostly it's Paul and Gordon playing like trash, opposing teams scouting, and a weak bench (this part IS morey's fault).

and by harden as well. but morey had to secure the non-taxpayer mle w/ the CP3 trade in order to make it possible to sign a guy like tucker

He offered Anderson bad contract in 2016 and Paul contract in 2018.

Make the same mistakes two times.

He has to trade both Knight and Paul the earlier the better.

2016 was a great summer to be a free agent. At least Ryan Anderson could ambulate. Joakim Noah's corpse got the same money.

Acquiring CP3 meant paying him when the season was over. No getting around it. I think he even gave up money for last season in order to team up with Harden.

Now, trading Anderson for two paper weights named Brandon and Marqueese........this he needs to fix soon.

Morey lands two superstars a near finals would be win and all of a sudden we should fire morey?. Y’all ever seen the nets?.

Be greatful, things don’t always work out it isn’t always his fault. We’re lucky we even have who we have due to him. Harden was a huge steal for us.

If he doesn't get us a legit backup center quick he needs to be fired. We need one now, but we also need one come playoffs, which might not even happen if we keep this up.

The devils advocate in me says that MDA won't play him even if he gets one .

He didn't start Nene tonight .

    He played Chriss over hartenstein.

How do you come to the conclusion that those are the correct decisions??

No matter how good our roster is , MDA is good for some bad decisions if the game is close .

But the Rockets are on winning mode now with two future hall of famer players, and one in his prime. This was the year where Morey should of bring in good role players around James Harden and Chris Paul. He failed. Is time to fire him, and hire a real GM.

Saw this thread at the top so asked myself - Did we lose a close game in annoying fashion today? Check.

Lmao if Morey isn't a REAL gm then good luck finding one. He's one of the absolute best in the NBA today.

Chris Paul is out, Capela is out, House declined a contract offer, Gordon left the 4th with an injury, Ennis is out, the opposing team got extremely hot and hit insane shots down the stretch, and Morey will still make moves this deadline to bolster our roster with buyouts and trades.

I know it sucks, but quit overreacting. Morey is the reason we the MVP, James Harden. Clint, Paul, the best team in the league last year, he and his team put that together. It's been a tough start, but we're turning it around, we just need our guys to get healthy, we just need Morey to make a few tweaks.

He gave up money on the opt-in, but guaranteed supermax money by being traded. Technically he did leave money on the table that last year, on that contract, but I can't see it as that when he making 40 mil this season.

Tillman might be the worst thing to happen to the rockets in last 25 years .

His cheap ass is striking right at the time we have harden playing his best .

An aggressive owner would have given Morey the go ahead to dip into MLE for House , waive Melo , trade Chriss , and use our future picks for a solid rotation guy .

Instead Morey is forced to prioritize the luxury tax savings over the on-court product

Morey's work has been a disaster this season. The big question is: it is his responsibility exclusively or Tilman has not let him work freely. Anyway, if this does not improve quickly, it would be appropriate for the real responsible to leave the Rockets.
