Tomorrow, it might be another spun up story. I will give some credit to Steven A, because he is trying to tell the general public that James Harden is the best scorer and that he can play the PG spot with ease. Max is wrong to call Harden a PG. He is a elite SG who is a quality passer. Max is pissed off that Stephan Curry couldn't do anything against James Harden's brilliance.

I'm not trying to put the Greek Freak down though.

He is a terrific player, who is slowly getting better as a 3 point shooter.

They are both very competitive and won't give an inch to each other.

    Go Harden! Go Houston Rockets!

James Harden is the best player in the league. He has truly figured out how to break the NBA... no one can guard him or his teammates bc of him. Theres nothing he can’t do.

Greek Freek is a beast too like you said. He couldn’t play for a more fitting team. Dude is a deer in the open court...

The deer vs the beard. #fear

Please don't get worked up over scripts meant to work you up. Not even well written scripts. He calls Harden an "OK" 3pt shooter. Harden is hitting 38.6 of 12.4 attempts per game.

In case you are not one for contextualizing data, most of the time the more shots you take the lower your percentage drops. Harden is taking the MOST attempts in NBA history per game right now. Curry is the best shooter in NBA history. Harden is not as good a shooter as him. Take Curry out, and Harden is shooting better than anybody else in the world. No one can hit over 38% of 12+ attempts most of them unassisted.

Despite Curry being a better shooter (44% on 11.4 attempts), Harden is producing the same points per shot and averaging 3 more assists (and he ain't got Klay/Durant to pass the ball to lol). Who's more dangerous?

Just silly stuff. Please guys, watch and laugh. That's what this is supposed to do for you.

    Not in a couple years.

Giannis has the potential to make strides in 1 or 2 years only.

This is kind of an obvious one.......

Since James Harden is the best basketball player in the world...... he is by definition better than Giannis (who I still love).

What's mostly annoying is the belief that D'Antoni elevated Harden and his stats to what he is now. News flash national media - Harden has been doing this since day one in Houston. He took a Rockets team coached by Kevin freakin McHale to the Western Conference Finals. He's been putting up crazy numbers even with McHale at the helm. So don't give me this bulls$%# that his numbers are good because of D'Antoni's so called "system" GTFOH with that non-sense.

Max: Harden benefits from MDA system.

Harden been averaging 25 ppg since coming to Houston. This is such a nonsense argument because it literally can't be proved.

Could it be that MDAs system is bringing out the very best in Harden? Yes.

Could it also be that Harden just naturally improved as a player? Yes.

Could it be a combination of both? Yes.

You could make this VERY same argument for Jordan. That it was Pjack's system that he benefitted from.

Or Tim Duncan and Pop...or...GASP...Steve Kerr and Curry!

It's a useless exercise. Give the coach credit and give the player credit and move on.

Woah woah, chill homie. That's my son's name your making fun of. Giannis is absolutely amazing and hasn't done anything to us to warrant your hate.

Let's just agree he's no James Harden.
