Michael Carter-Williams. Where do we start? His Livingston like length? His ability to effortlessly get to the rim? His defensive potential? His adorable dimples? MCW have it all. Despite the fact he was not properly utilized by D'Antoni because D'Antoni is racist against people with magnificent dimples MCW was a true professional. He rooted for his team from the bench every game. Without his moral support could the Rockets have even turned it around? Highly unlikely. And what about practice? Would anyone dare argue that Harden could have reached his current heights were he not facing off with MCW in practice every day? Oh I think not. And even though MCW could barely get onto the court because D'Antoni is an evil tyrant who hates America and puppies HE BROKE RECORDS when he did. That's how you demonstrate greatness. Not this mamby pamby advanced analytics stuff.

Today is most certainly one of the darkest days in Rocket history but I'm here to pose the following question:

Worst trade in Rockets history OR worst trade in NBA history?

What's next for me? Look out for my next and related thread in which I propose we fire Moari and D'antoni and hire Hinkie and whoever coached the Sixers the year MCW won the Rookie of the Year award.

Huh? I would have traded him for a dam bag of opened potato chips...This might be the greatest trade of all time.

Its a good trade for the Rockets as they cut down almost 2 million in luxury tax penalties. It also opened up one roster spot if there are buyout players available or even we can take a 3 for 2 players swap.

Neither unfortunately. GM's don't make players. Coaches help a lot, but at the end of the day, it's all up to the player him or herself. MCW has regressed greatly since his rookie debut. Opposing teams were able to figure him out, and he was unable to adjust to them.

It was a low risk, high reward move. I don't blame Morey in the least bit.
He never complained and was reliable to take care of the ball during garbage time. (Not joking)

    Best of luck to him.

Most anticipated thread of the season and well worth the wait. Williamson - you are too valuable of a poster on here to jump from a cliff tonight bro.

Think positive - MCW May be the next Bobby Brown
