    My most off-the-chain horrendous opinion was probably Malick Badiane.

    Saw him in a summer league game in Long Beach and he was athletic with tons of energy, rebounding and blocking everything in sight, and even scoring a few points. I saw him as a very raw Kevin Garnett. It must have been the weed, because in reality he was a combination of Kevin Arnold and Kevin Malone:

    Thought MCW could be our Shaun Livingston lite... or at least was hopeful that he could be a defensive specialist off the bench. Now he's a Bull and will be waived soon.

    So much for that.

    I was very certain Troy Daniels was going to be a big part of our future.

    -Had high hopes for Ty Lawson;

    -Thought Lamb had great potential, although was super happy to get Harden;

    -Thought Terrence Jones could fix his inconsistent motor and become kind of a Boris Diaw Light.

    Silas over MDA, even though I knew absolutely nothing about Silas.

    I thought MDA was the worst possible HC signing. But I felt significantly better when Jeff Bigdilly came here.

    When James Harden was traded to the Rockets, I thought he was only slightly better than Swaggy P. In my defense, not even Morey knew Harden was going to be this good.

    Argued and argued about AD being severely overrated and bad offensively when he first entered the league.

    I mean, he is overrated, but I was waaaaay off.

    I was against the Francis/Mobley trade for T-Mac, I just loved those two even though they never did much together as Rockets.

    When the Harden trade went down I did not think highly of him after that finals appearance

    I think at one point circa 2014...as Lillard and Curry were coming into their own...I thought Lillard would end up being the better player.

    I'm sure I have worse takes than that (probably mostly overly-optimistic takes on Rockets players), but that's just the first one that crossed my mind. I think that was probably after he shot like 50% from three in the series the Rockets lost to the Blazers, so I may have been a bit emotional.

    Context matters. That was a season when he had proven about halfway through it that he was not efficient on that shot. I have not said that in relation to this season.

    My worst basketball opinion was thinking that Kawhi would have a journeyman career and that both Derrick Williams and Marcus Morris were better than him because they could shoot and make plays.

    Second worst opinion was disliking the MDA hire over JVG. Even though I was ready to fire JVG when he wad our coach before.

    Third worst opinion was thinking that the switching defense was a gimmick and would not work against the Warriors.

    Fourth worst opinion was thinking that Jah Okafor would tear it up offensively when he got to the NBA.

    Fifth worst opinion was being too high on both Kanter and Biyombo in the draft. I thought they'd be better than what they are.

    Sixth worst opinion was wanting us to sign Raphiael Putney without realizing he was still smoking dope and loving it. (What an idiot he is. And what an idiot I am for thinking he had moved past it.)

    These were all bad opinions and I freely admit to being wrong about each one.
