i would assume EGO and 1st rounders, which ainge would then throw in for the AD bid i like jaylen, but would prefer a taller player next to harden i like rozier as well, but with CP3 already making $40M i'd rather invest in an upgrade at one of the forward positions
Jaylen Brown's listed as 6'7". I'm assuming you're wanting a player that can play the 4/5? I think his value right now is as low as it's going to get and a perfect candidate to take a flyer on due to what he did last year.
you're right, for some reason i always see him as a 6'5" player when BOS plays. ok i'm on the bandwagon
Jaylen was good last year... good AND humble. He's rubbed me the wrong way this season. Not only has he been a complete scrub, but he's developed an arrogance only suited for players that don't suck. I liked Jaylen and rooted for him last year, but he's delivered a few too many stare-downs, including one off a dunk that ended up being his only two points of the game. So Jaylen can $#@% off as far as I'm concerned.
He's 22 and lost his starting job earlier this season. I'm sure most of it is frustration over how his growth is being slowed down by the players around him (e.g. Irving, Hayward, Tatum) getting more PT and touches. You put him on a team like ours, where he can legitimately be the 2nd best player on most nights, and I'm certain he would excel.
Lead NBA story on SI.com this morning is: "The Warriors Look Mortal" Unbelievable. Even after that game, it's still about them, not us.
From Zach Lowe's 10 Things I Like column today: Paraphrasing: Harden is awesome, Harden is great, etc. Then in the closing paragraph: "You might not like Harden's style -- the flopping, hooking and ref-baiting -- but with another eruption Thursday in Oakland, he might have overtaken Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James as MVP favorite."
Sorry to bump my own post, but I was having fun when I posted this a couple of months back, but it looks like some of this **** is actually happening! I am thinking of starting the GoFundMe campaign myself...
