In last night game the referees mainly number 39 make sure the Rockets would NOT blew out Boston. All Boston had to do is to drive towards rim and every time it was a foul. Meanwhile Houston was getting beat up and Gordon just can't get a call unreal.
refs had Celtics jerseys on...that 2nd quarter was a travesty of the highest order I would be a lot more angry if we had lost yesterday refs were the biggest stars of the night before Harden started cooking late in the 3rd
Major props to Clint for not going crazy. There were some horrible calls his way and he kept his cool and took it out on the boards.
Was thinking about this the other night. I’m actually missing Tony brothers. Dude definitely calls fouls like he sees it and doesn’t seem to care about tilting the calls. It’s only when he’s not the chief official does he skew his calls.
YES! I notice how inaccurate the Referees are in their decision making! They seem to be so terrible, especially where the Rockets are concerned! Its just so fortunate that we are playing so well!!! Y
That’s been happening all season and last season too. Pretty much since Dwight got here refs have been against us. But last year and this season have been the worst. You could hear Austin Rivers frustration at one point. He was getting push and hack and no call yet on the other side he barely touch anyone and would get called a foul. If i was playing there I would have already gotten fine a couple times because this is ridiculous. The refs called no fouls on the Celtics when they were grabbing and pushing yet we got all those calls by doing less. And to make it worse they T up Chris mike and Capela pretty much for nothing. Mike only said “come on guys” after watching the replay and Capela barely hanged there. I seen him hang more in other games which seemed like he might get called for it but didn’t. And just before we pulled away on the 4th the refs tried to keep the Celtics close again. But the rockets keep grinding and playing well that even with the refs help they couldn’t come back again. Same thing happened last season the refs gifted the Celtics that win against us. We pulled away and the refs made sure to call it in the Celtics favor and last 2 plays gave harden the offensive fouls against the flopping Marcus Smart
Must be the ref that completes the trifecta. Can’t let these 3 goons ref a playoff game or else........
They were equally as bad in second half against Celtics, particularly in the technical fouls. They shouldn’t have ejected Morris. All those techs on Rockets early seemed silly too. In general the refs are way too sensitive on technicals this year, and they’re way too inconsistent.
You make a good point, remember a few weeks ago when LeBron was hanging on the rim like 15 seconds or more and nothing was called.
the refs were told by adam silver to make the game close so that the nba could cover their bets. once they realized the rockets were gonna win regardless, they started giving random make up calls in the 4th when the game was already decided just so that casual fans would look at the lack of ft disparity and think it was a fairly officiated game.
