Update: Brandon Knight status is "probable"

It'll take him like 2 months to be a 10/5 guy

 

I'll be fine with that if we are not giving up other assets just for a minimal improvement. That would mean he actually became productive. I don't want to give up a first rounder just to get rid of his contract.

 

I was at the game last night . Seeing him move around in person ... he doesn't look fluid . Very stiff

If he can't loosen up he won't be able to contribute anything

 

Knight's looked pretty good to me. For a guy who hasn't played in 2 years, he's already accomplished alot by not interrupting the flow when he plays. I hope keep him as a back PG/SG

 

Probably not enough time until his contract gets a tad more valuable on the trade market.

It's been refreshing to see someone else other than CP3 and Harden be able to dribble up the court.

 

I’d like to see him get a solid 15-20 mins, not sure if he’s ready but only way to really feel a guy out. If he’s healthy I see no reason to not test the waters

Not sure if matters though he’s basically trade bait at this point

 

I don't know much about him, but I feel myself rooting for him more and more with each play he is on the court. He just carries himself as a person really wanting to help the team and get his career back on track in the process. He is so anxious to get there, but seems to have a calm understanding to respect the process.

 

Hard to imagine much is being accomplished in 4 minutes. I thought we would slowly increase his minutes, but he pretty much makes a cameo and goes back to the bench.

I tend to agree he needs some time in the D-league, he's just not at an NBA speed right now. Get his legs and stroke back and maybe he can help.

 

My eyeballs tell me he has been pretty good defensively and effort wise. His offensive rhythm is piss poor right now but he may get there.

 

He's been a 17 and 5 guys for more than half of his career. He will never get the minutes in Houston to get that production but I definitely wouldn't mind 10 and 3 without more than 2 turnovers a game from him.

 

His +/- is all positive which probably not a defensive hole

Agree, we are not losing points when he is on the floor for the last few games, better than MCW.

 

Brandon Knight is looking alright.

He needs to play both g league and NBA to regain confidence and back to his form
