i think that since being 3pt champion gordon had only 2-3 months of shooting above average if i recall well last year he had 2 good months, one average, other than that the entire season he was below average
I didn't say anything against that EG and RA were close in 2016. RA won best teammate awards for consecutive seasons, everyone loved Ryan. I just don't think they were that close in 2018 so that one's departure would affect the other one's on court performance.
Seems his 3pt shooting has nothing to do with us losing or winning. He is shooting 21.9% from 3 during the winning streak. http://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/3431 His slashing would help though.
Gordon, fun-analyst: Sort of in the third. We don’t really go for stuff like that, but we know we’re capable of hitting a lot of threes like that. I expect us to do that, it was good to see. It was our night, but I think we can do more. We’re gonna break the record again. We can make more than 26 threes. We just gotta continue to do what we do and thrive, but tonight was fun. @KellyUnchained
He shot 4 out of 9 three pointers against the Wizards. Hopefully, he will regain his confidence soon, and shoot better on a regular basis.
Glad you are having fun again Eric. Maybe if you could be more consistent we would be having a ton more fun this season.
No doubt, this is a matter of great concern. I'm somewhat hopeful that he will start shooting better in the upcoming stretch. EG needs help from House on defense against 3's. If EG doesn't get overworked on that end, his shooting should come around. CP3 and EG depend on each other too. Let's hope for the best.
the most hilarious thing is he keeps chucking them from 30 feet despite shooting breweresque % you gotta love the confidence
Gordon had a solid game today, even if he took some truly ghastly shots. He oddly seems to play his best on national TV in a big matchup.
that 35 ft shot, in transition, that he got blocked on , early in the clock, after he had several successful drives to the basket, was the worst shot in basketball, ever
