Dirk wouldn't do just fine he would be a beast unleashed with the new rules lol. Dude was able to be stretch PF at the time when handcheck rules were still allowed, i think his numbers would be Curry-esque in today's NBA.
13-3 at home 2-14 on the road I don't think I remember a more ridiculous differential between the two.
To be fair, it was a brutal schedule. They're a terrible road team to begin with, and they had to play in Denver, LA, Golden State and Portland - 4 road games against really tough opponents in the span of 5 days.
Luka has played well. And likely will have a good career. But right now, the media is a bit TOO much Luka hyped. Riding his nuts.
Absolutely, the Bird comparisons are ridiculous. I think people forget how great Larry was. Yet we have media constantly talking about travels as opposed to the numbers Harden puts up every year.
It's now... 14-3 2-15 The gap is getting wider. Mavs are so weird. It's like Cuban is sending their doppelgangers to the road games.
i think its deserved TBH.... you have to remember he is only 19. its ridiculous for someone that young to make it look so effortless against the best in the world.
I'm looking at the list of the 2018 All-Stars and I can definitively say that Luka is already better than quite a few of them... Drummond, Wall, Love, Beal, Dragic, Green... Doncic has a bigger impact than these guys.
i agree, though i think beal could be better elsewhere. he has to deal with a toxic locker room and dysfunctional franchise his entire career.
Real talk, if he was anywhere but Dallas, this would've been a great story. This is annoying though. Really wished the Mavs drafted Bagley. I think Trey Young will still be great in this league. I hope this dude hits the sophomore slump heavy or have a Parsons-like decline. I'm sorry man, but i'ts because it's Dallas.
Nah bro Trae Young is done. He can be a good starter ala OJ Mayo but he can nver be great as he is too unathletic. He is shooting 38% from the field and 25% from 3 c'mon bro lol.
Another issue with Trae is his defense. I think it was Zach Lowe who described his defense as a piece of paper being blown around in the wind. His D makes Nash look like Gary Payton. I suspect his shooting will get better because it is just so bad right now. But even in that scenario he's worthless on the other end of the court. For their sake, I hope they knock it out of the park in this upcoming draft.
