Wow, just saw the highlights of the fourth quarter. We were up and then luka took over. I cant lie, he is an exciting player and the mavs are lucky as much as i dislike that team.

Should not have lost that game, but the kid is the real deal.

To spin this positively, this can be like the Spurs game early this season that sparks a 5 game winning streak.

 

Empty stats. You guys bash on Westbrook for the same ****. There has to be something going on if Harden is still losing games while posting great stats. LeBron's stats last year were empty too. Look at their defense and team impact. If they're not playing winning defense, their stats mean jackshit.

 

It helps us.
We get a young playmaker that was averaging 21 pts, 8 assists until he decided to tank today (Wall).
A 6'10" power forward that rebounds and does the dirty work (Morris)
A 6'8 small forward that defends, shoots threes, and rebounds. (Porter)

 

Literally the only one on the team that can grab a board is Clint. For all the wing talk, we need another body or three that can get a board.

it’s ridiculous...we’re 30th in defensive rebound percentage after being 4th last year

our defense is so garbage, and every time we do manage to get a stop. the other team just gets the offensive rebound and scores

 

Dontic has the potential to be better then even dirk was simply of how multi skilled he is on offense. Can shoot, amazing passer and playmaker and has amazing IQ . He could end up being one of the greatest steals ever

 

Omg, LOL people with better assets will get Beal, get real. Someone please come get this man.

When your worse than the Mavs...

 

Gordon is? Was not this season. But we were up before all that. If we had just gone in and drive the basket get one or two fouls we would have won. We were up by 8 they just weren’t smart enough to hold that lead. Bad defense (Capela switching) wife open shots for the mavs and shooting terribly from 3. So why shoot 3s when u don’t need them and you aren’t making them. Not smart at all by Harden. Yea Gordon too but that was desperation

 

You would think D'Antoni would be a good enough coach to tell Capela to stop freaking switching so easily by now...

 

If PJ can start hitting an occasional corner 3, we might win another game. Sad thing is I’m really not sure that’d be our best course, not at this point. We are bad.

OK, I just saw more highlights and Chris Paul missed two free throws in the last 90 seconds giving the Mavericks even more momentum. What the hell?

 

Confidence is so important in this game, the rockets have none. They believe they are their record. Sinning 65 games is bad for confidence when you dont win the chip and struggle early next season, If we won the chip we would have the confidence to say we will take core of things in the playoffs and not let the distract us so much.

Let’s be real, they have a lot of talent on the team but it’s not translating. Confidence has to be a huge factor and the team lacks it.
