I was one who predicted that his career was over. Glad I was wrong. He could be a "playoff surprise." Texans may not win them all (Philly might be a loss), but I am starting to get that "Super Bowl Feeling." Why not? DW is used to championships.

I trust nothing that BOB says because almost all of it is worthless coachspeak but if Foreman can come in and make the Texans' run game even more productive it'll go a long way to keeping the streak going and potentially even earning a first round bye.

Agreed on the coach speak. Also, it might help with resting Miller once things are more settled (division/seeding) so that he's more fresh for the playoffs. Having a rested, spry Miller who is capable of making "house calls" would be a huge weapon for the offense.

With the way things are going, I doubt anything is settled until the last week of the season. The division will most likely be wrapped up by then, but seeding in the AFC will probably still be up in the air. I don't think we can afford to rest anybody in this stretch run.

Hoping that the Texans get their bye before than... who we can rest the VETs for that last game... and get ready to host in the divisional round.

BOB has been very hard on Foreman previously, so I take notice when he changes it up and praises Foreman on his progress.

Replacing Blue with Foreman.. plus how Miller been running the ball of late. It's about to become something real in Houston.

Foreman was beginning to look like a rising star right before the injury (& during the injury).. He seems hungry. As well as Blue has ran, it’ll without a doubt be a good thing for us for Foreman to get his carries. Speaks volumes on our run blocking. They’ve been great, especially lately.

Gives BOB one more option to ice the game with in the 3rd quarter. I love it.

Foreman looked slow, made poor cuts, and rusty.

To be expected....would rather have had Miller and let Foreman spell him

Can we move on from the Alfred Blue experience and get a new Lamar "handcuff"?

D'Onta Foreman rushed seven times for negative-one yard and caught both of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' Week 16 loss to the Eagles. Alfred Blue got the start, but Foreman was on the field for each of Houston’s next two possessions. He "gained" zero yards on four carries on those two drives, however, and did not touch the ball again in the first half. He actually lost a yard on his this carries in the second half, but he was able to get open for a 20-yard touchdown catch to keep the Texans in the game in the fourth quarter, the first touchdown catch of his career. He almost gave the game away with a fumble late in the fourth, but the Texans recovered. Despite the score, this was not a good performance. Foreman should get better with more reps.

Alfred Blue rushed four times for 14 yards and hauled in 4-of-5 targets for 26 yards in the Texans' Week 16 loss to the Eagles. Blue got the start, but D’Onta Foreman was in the game for Houston’s second possession and saw three more carries on the day. Blue was more effective with the work, but neither could get much going. Blue appeared to suffer an injury late in the game, but he was never announced with an issue.

Foreman looked slow and had no burst. I'm not sure if it's because hes rusty or just lost that athleticism due to the Achilles injury.

Hasn’t taken a game snap in over a year, think he’d be rusty even if coming back from a lesser injury. We’ll see though.

He's still rusty or not 100%. He got more carries than blue despite running for negative yards
