So I guess the RDJ/Law movies are done? Were there 2 or 3 of those?

    Just 2, I believe.

When I first saw that Ferrel and Reilly were doing Sherlock Holmes I thought it would be genius and couldn't go wrong...but that trailer kind of fell flat. Hopefully they left the best bits out of it.

    Think they’re doing a 3rd.

The dumbass comedies are overdone these days. It feels kind of old hat and lazy now.

They would've been better off reimagining this:

Really enjoyed the 1st one, second one was not nearly as good but still watch it when it's on for some reason.

This Ferrell/Reilly one looks pretty terrible.

Disappointed this wasn’t a Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson movie.

I'm going to miss Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law in the roles. This feels like a dumbed down "Step Brothers"-ish take on the characters where they dumb it down for the sake of comic relief. It's truly going to have to be funny to save it. It could turn out good but seems more like a bomb based on the preview I just watched.

Good review of the first 2 though I'm not sure I've seen the 2nd more than once, but Jared Harris is always great. When Downey is killed off in the Marvel stuff (quickly please) I hope he makes another of these and also other good movies again.

Have no opinion on the Talladega Holmes movie, I'm sure I'll watch it at some point some day.

Sadly, it looks like a paycheck movie for Ferrell and Reilly.

I don't understand why anyone would be watching this movie. It looks awful in the trailer, bad jokes and mugging and awful slapstick, painful attempts to rise above a nothing script when the quicksand already has hold of you. Walk out of the theater? Did 0% on Rotten Tomatoes not mean anything (apparently it's up to 6% now [maybe Will Ferrell called in a favor], although the "positive" reviews mentioned were rather left-handed compliments at best).

It's sad that this movie sucks. Both guys are capable of good things but this surely isn't one of them. I think even they must get tired of redressing the same package again and again.

I haven't seen it. I wanted to like it but I haven't seen one thing so far that makes it look watchable.
