Who would make for good moderators in the D&D forum?

    I have not given this forum much attention and it obviously needs some moderation help. I'd like to open a dialogue on good level-headed posters who could be candidates to help out as D&D moderators.

    I'll be up front: Just because they're a good candidate doesn't mean they should volunteer to do it. Moderating a politics forum is not an easy gig -- in fact, it's completely unfair. You'll be accused of bias at times for taking just about any action, especially if you're actively involved.

    Sounds fun, I'm sure lol. But I think if there's more than one, they have the forum's best interest in mind and they have the support of the community, it might help clean things up a bit. And I can take responsibility for any major actions, a few of which I'll be taking this week.

    It's going to be hard to recommend a good candidate. Given the nature of the forum, some of the most frequent and vocal posters are also the most passionate and set in their ways.... Likely leading to perception of their actions to be most biased.

    The others, well we don't really know who they are....

    I think we need a moderate who is spineless enough to not really take a proper stance on any hard-line issue.

    Maybe come up with decisions using votes within the group.

    Thanks for listening to the feedback that I and others gave you during this whole ordeal, especially regarding the need for a D&D mod.

    I know a lot of us sounded really harsh and angry, but in the end we just want to make this board a better place and are really passionate about it, as many have been a apart of this community for a better part of their lives and don't want to see it dragged down due to bad apples.

    I'm sure people will come up with good candidates, I agree with the B-Bob mention.

    I think it's probably best to have someone that doesn't comment in the D&D that actively but someone who reads it fairly often. I can't think of anyone that is extremely active in the D&D that would be a good candidate due to either accusations of bias or outright bias that would cloud their judgement.
