Will the winning lure the Tillman into a false sense of security about continuing cheapness?

The problem with Morey under Les - we treated the players like assets not people.

The problem with Morey under the TillMan - we treat the players like unsecured creditors, not assets.

It’s not cheapness...... The Tillman is in financial trouble. What else you want him to do?

His knee should heal by the trade deadline. Granted he was never the same after that second shoulder dislocation, but he did log 54 minutes in 4 separate games against the Warriors, and he played every game against Utah. Given that his knee is ok, I'd say he's worth a spot at the min.

Give up picks for a player on a 1 year vet minimum deal? No thanks. He hasnt been the same since his 2nd shoulder dislocation. Rockets need guys who arent already hurt permanently.

Rockets are for sure top 10 in salary. Any organization “problems” right now would seem to be a lack of quality young guards and filling up the lower bowl.

You people know it's the truth. CP3 and Harden have a limited window. Surrounding them with cheap scrubs is a waste and a travesty.

The winning lures people into a false sense of security about the cheapness and financial troubles of Tillman and the incompetence of Bob O'Brien and the Rockets will never win the Superbowl.

I can understand fans who want Fertilla to spend more money on the Rockets. But I'm not sure where the idea that he's "cheap" comes from given that Les Alexander never paid the luxury tax and in numerous occasions had Morey maneuver the roster specifically for the purpose of avoiding it. And when Les Alexander had to face with the prospects of actually paying the luxury tax, he sold the team.

If anything, Eat-at-Landrys at least actually is going to pay the luxury tax, even if he's not adding another dime to this roster.

GS is better in Big 6. I agree that 7th to 9th man needs to be much better than GS. How about scoring 20 more points a game than GS (Rockets 7th man, 8th man and 9th man).

MDA does not have championship quality to win the Superbowl, either.

Vegas is not going to give MDA heavy favorite to win the Championship.

The Rockets have extremely active attempting to improve the team this season. That hasn’t changed in the last week.

There is a lot of limits Morey can do now.

If Morey offers 4 Firsts for improvement, he could quit the job after 2 years. Many people will blame him offer Paul max when he is old.

You don't know how hard it will be to win the Championship after 2021 and 2022.

He has played 60 minutes all year.... he has played in only 4 games and his head coach said he isn’t going to be available anytime soon. Some of the MLE money is going to be used to sign Clark and possibly on a buyout candidate.

I would have been fine keeping Luc, but so far he has made zero difference this season. Based on how he finished last year, I have to wonder if he is finished.

Ariza hasn’t been setting the world on fire either.

Ariza would go to the Lakers under your scenario. He isn’t going to be a Rocket this year. You have a better chance of Gary Clark turning interesting a star player.

Sound crazy! Ariza agent could ask him to join Warriors after buyout.

KD is leaving. GS total salary is $119 million with Klay Thompson max next summer. Rockets total salary is $142 deduct Zhou Qi next summer.

Mutual understanding: GS give Ariza 1-yr 9 million dollars.

Tilman is unlikely to give ariza 1yr 9 million.
