DeSean Jackson just requested a trade from the Bucs. IMO, he's the perfect replacement for Fuller as he can stretch out the field. The Texans need to go for it and try to trade for him.

The DeShaun / DeSean TD connection needs to happen!

He makes 12.5 this year and 11 next year.

    Texans would pay?

Even after the assumed extensions of players currently on the roster, we should have somewhere in the neighborhood of $45m in cap space. This team is currently in first place in their division, has a defense that's capable of winning games on their own, and has a QB that's getting better and better each week. I say if not now, when?

The question is can Fuller AND Jackson coexist next season. The Texans would be getting him for next year as well. I dont know if they want to devote assets for Jackson if next year he becomes redundant.

True. But the Texans are looking to replace someone who will be a staple in the offense again next year. DeSean would be an expensive sub. Also there are still huge holes to fill in the oline and at cornerback(s)

I think you do it and worry about having too many good receivers next year.....I mean, it's an awesome problem to have.

That said, I would still prefer Peterson, but this deal is worth doing too.

“We feel really good about our own receivers, Brian. Obviously we look at all our options and make a decision from there. But we feel pretty good at the receiver position at this time.”

Not only that....but Fuller wont make it through a full season...he's been basically injured non stop his entire career. There is great chance we will need someone to replace Fuller next season too.

Yeah...I'm not ready to admit that just yet but you are probably correct. Either way, having another guy there to take some of the pressure off of him might help.

Between Fuller and Keke...Im guessing we'll always have playing time for DeSean next season.

I’m all for it...I thought he was older like 33-34.

He's not worth what the bucs are looking to get for him. He's worth a 6th at best. Maybe the Texans could trade for marvin jones, who' is now the wr3 on his team.

Perhaps they are trying to sway him to stay?

    He’ll be 32 in December.
