He can actually. Last season we got Ariza or Luc guarding the perimeter and Tuc handling inside the paint. This season, we have to put Tuc on the other teams best offense player. For example tonight, Tuc has to go out and guard Lou Will which leads Harrell dominate the paint. If you can watch the tape of the game, Tuc got couple of chance guarding Harrell and Harrell was either passing the ball or failed to score. Thats the biggest difference compare to last season. We DO NOT have another reliable defender to guard the perimeter. JB will resolve this issue for sure.

Butler plays with passion and fire. He can make it contagious on the Rockets.

Part of the master plan... Rockets showing the Wolves that if the season ended today, they’d have a top lotto pick.

Four 1st rounders are not as valuable as people think because Rockets are going to be a good team and their drafts are mostly late 1st round anyway. Now if the Rockets are a mediocre team, then those picks are MUCH more attractive. If anything, the last two 1st round picks are probably much more valuable. So is that enough for Butler? I don't think so.

Eric Gordon continues to pull the wool over your eyes. Morey should be actively shopping him and if necessary include him in this deal, dude is a complete non factor in the playoffs

Ego isn't playing worth a damn right now and he needs to get it together. I agree if Butler > Gordon.

Gordon isn't a free agent after this season.

He helps but anything other than that is high expectation.

Yes, he is an Allstar, he is a good defender but he isn't too familiar with Dan Toney, Morey system and the team.

He will have better games than Melo, but bad shooting games are bound to happen.

The bigger question is what can Chris Paul do to save this season?

He isn't the natural scorer he once was when he was younger.

His numbers are declining from his Clip and Nola days. He used to average 11-12 assists per game.

Lol my bad, I assumed this was his last year because he was offered an extension in the offseason. In that case Morey should definitely trade his ass, I'm over his playoff disappearing act

CP3, Harden, Capela and Gordon have all played like bums so far. They have to get it together. If PJ Tucker is your best player then you are a lottery team.

I can go either way on Butler, but if this team has no heart/chemistry - nothing fixes that.

The way Gordon has been shooting in the last few games........who would want him. He's too strictly.

Butler fixes it. We could then have Melo at the 4 exclusively in the Anderson role.

You have to consider that since this report, other teams are calling Morey and inquiring about the same type of deal for one of their players.

The same way Morey gathered assets for one player (I think it was Dwight) and ended up using them to get Harden (and later got Dwight anyway).

The Nets got Deron Williams the same way, I believe.
Gathering assets with one player in mind, and then taking advantage of someone else coming available.
