Really? I don't think the Cowboys give one iota about the Houston NFL franchise being named the Texans.

 

My money is on Allen Hurns to have a breakout game .. Our defense makes more stars than Universal Studios... Cowgirls 27 - Hollywood Texans 20

The defense needs to dominate throughout the entire game. The coaches need to learn how to substitute players better as well. JJ and Clowney were worn out in the second half against the Colts.

 

I was called by an old friend of mine who lives in Denver last night. He's been a lifelong Cowboy fan, despite the fact he's only ever been to Dallas twice in his life. He asked if I wanted to place a bet on the game. I laughed quite loudly. Once we talked about either team, it was clear that the idea was stupid because neither of us had any confidence in our teams.

So many national tv, prime time embarrassments in the Texans history (along with the horrid coaching) make it impossible to realistically feel good about it. I hope they win but, again, don't have any expectations of it.

 

They beat the Bengals last year in primetime. DW4 will have a great game. The secondary is what concerns me

Cows will try to control the game by running Elliott into the ground. Their entire strategy is based on controlling the clock through the run game (and keeping Elliott out of jail for asaulting women). Their OL is not the demon that it was back when they went 13-3. You simply stop the run and force Prescott to beat you with his arm and that ain't him. Their wideouts should not scare anybody and their coachng under Garrett is laughable so this should be one in the win column for the Texans except for the fact that butt-chin is coaching the Texans so there is no telling just how bad he will manage to screw this up.

 

If Garrett has watched tape on the Texans, Elliott won't be run to the ground as much as catching passes out of the backfield.
