he's a nice bench piece. he's not a starter or ariza's replacement. actually, MCW, gordon, ennis, melo, hart are a pretty good bench! we're missing a starting F tho. i see the appeal of gordon for butler since that fills the starting F spot and green can take ego's minutes as a backup shooter.
Yeah im starting to open my mind more towards the idea of Gorodjnin the starting lineup. Only thing Ennis does better than Ariza is run the floor in transition. He won’t be the perimter threat that Ariza was. Matter of fact I’m starting to think we won’t be the effective three point shooting team we’ve been in years pass.
Ennis is okay coming off the bench. He hasn't shown so far he's good enough to be starting ahead of Melo. Tucker and Melo will probably be the starting forwards.
Gonna go ahead and tell you Melo and Tucker won’t be in the same lineups ever really let alone start together.
I think it's a chance. Tucker hasn't played yet in the preseason but MDA will probably try it to see how it goes before the preseason is over.
I just realized @DudeWah is trolling and simultaneously using this as a place holder when Ennis might suck in the future. funny. smart. efficient.
U should be mad we waste a roster spot on Jo CHee so we can keep the Asian market happy. Ennis >>> Ariza
And OP liked that post. Great. OP is afraid to start a thread about how he likes Ennis, so instead, does the Upside Down troll game for his own amusement.
He's definitely a high energy player. I'm concerned he maybe more of just a hustle guy than a skilled up rotation player. I also saw him get blown by a few times which I didn't like. But it's too early too tell what the verdict is on Ennis
After years of seeing Ariza choke away transition opportunities with his inability to dribble and finish consistently, it’s so refreshing seeing Ennis and MCW actually dribble on the break and finish around the rim confidently.
Wow his stats were lookin good.. yes he has alot to work on if he wants to be starter material but he will do just fine... i do however feel that is exactly why I am hoping we can get Jimmy B home.
I am sure he will look great in some games and horrible in some other games. The real question is can he help us overcome the Warriors in the playoffs? Based on what I see so far, I kinda agree that he is a far less of player in this role than Ariza.
