I was honestly curious about that. To me it’s very odd that her attorneys would take the case pro bono and Katz’ firm was referred to Ford by Feinstein’s office. High level attorneys like that don’t work for free and Ford certainly isn’t broke. The whole arrangement just looks bad to me.

I really wish they would go back to the 60 vote rule for judge confirmation. Moving it to 50 has really created a terribly toxic environment where both sides are willing to sabotage the process.

There was never any doubt that Democrats would move the goalposts, but with the investigation done, it secures the votes to put Kavanaugh on the bench and you can essentially ignore the Democrats and their BS.

shes getting this part of her story from Judge's book which says he worked in a Safeway in 1982. She changed her story from mid 80s and in her late teens to summer of '82 and 15 to match his book. shes trying to give her story credibility by changing what she originally claimed to match Judge's book.
