I’m all for Jimmy Buckets ending up in MIA if HOU can’t get it done. Weaken the west. I know it won’t happen as one of them will be critical asset to the deal but I’d love to help them & end up w Winslow + Tyus Jones.

That trade makes no sense. If you were the Blazers GM you want to add to CJ and Dame; not replace one with an older player not locked into a contract.
What I love about Morey gunning for Jimmy B. is that he's proven over time that he's usually unwilling to OVERspend for a player in a trade (T-Will excepted). He goes after them agressively but knows knows when to pump the brakes. In other words, we don't have to worry about him throwing in Ego, PJ, Zhou, Hartenstein, 2 firsts, a second, Keith Jones and Calvin Murphy just to get the deal done.

He fits in excellently IMO. He has been absolutely deadly from corner 3s the past couple of years shooting 55% in 2017 and 44% in 2018. He will get far more open looks with Harden and Paul and he has been excellent when he is open. He is an excellent defender who would be able to play even harder on defense if he doesn't have to carry the offensive load that he does now. I don't see how we get the trade done though. I think maybe if we still had Melton then that could have been a nice sweetener for Minny, but we had to move him to get Ryno off the team.
