The release point looks similar but lol at Fultz's knees and hitch before he releases the ball. Eric's lower body does not look like that when he shoots.
It's really too bad Hinkie wasn't still in charge when that draft occurred. It'll be tough for the Sixers to work around the fact that neither Simmons nor Fultz are good shooters. I really think Elton Brand needs to be on the phone with Minnesota right now figuring out how to build a package for Jimmy around Markelle Fultz. Simmons Redick Butler Covington Embiid That's a hell of a starting lineup. And the fact that Redick, Butler and Covington and even Embiid are all good shooters really helps balance Simmons.
Fultz’s shot has a really low release point...it doesn’t look great, but it still looks much better than that abomination he displayed last season out there shooting like a 5th grader... I really liked him in college, and he has a lot of potential...he’s smooth, and he’s pretty creative off the dribble u can see the talent that he has I really hope he pans out...he’d easily be 1 of my favorite players to watch if he had a nice looking jumper
College is a slower paced game and the defenders aren't athletic beasts thats why his shot is broke. Regardless whether he fixed his shot or not they still traded away Tatum+ a pick for him which is a joke. Couple that with Atlanta passing on Luka to grab Trae and you have two teams whose rebuilding efforts went down the drain trying to get the next Steph Curry. Reminds of when MJ retired and everybody started picking every wing that reminds them of Jordan.
Nah bro Embiid is just carrying them on his back thats why they look good. But Embiid basically got a lot of rest by mid season he is gonna be all worn down and injured again. Look for Philly to fall apart in the 2nd half this season. They still have no chance against Boston and Toronto.
I mean, he has terrible shooting form. And he didn't before. Why is this such a big deal to everyone? Just assume he has no J like Simmons and he is working on it and showing progress. Start from scratch. Sucks for the Sixers. Doesn't affect anyone else negatively, and he seems like a person who can still be a player in this league. The biggest thing slowing his progress down imo is all the artificial shock and horror. For real there are players who fans/media can single handedly ruin, and while it's on the player to become selfish and ignore fans when that happens (which, again fans would be outraged about), it's still a ridiculous cycle. Like why is everyone ON Fultz instead of rooting for him? Sports fanhood is really monkey-like sometimes.
