That’s a bit misleading. It would be more accurate to say that in 7 of his 10 losses the team only managed to score 1 run or less. How many runs did the other team score (how many did he give up) ?
I , too, have the same reaction every time Keuchel pitches. Look I know he's been pretty solid for a few months now, but I still don't pencil him in for a W necessarily every time.
But a night game wouldn't interfere with the Texans @ noon on Sunday. Guess I'll be watching from the seats!!
is it similiar to verlander and cole as of recent. I guess the stros are in a lot of trouble with these reactions
The "decent" comment is even more cringe-worthy because it was qualified as "AFTER the first inning" After the First Inning, he's been the CYA winner.
Man, hopefully we can strand these runners. But Keuchel's first inning struggles continue. And man, while Marwin has an excellent arm, and has played great outfield in the past, today is one example of him being out of position really showing.
Should the Astros see what they can get for Dallas in the off-season? Just don't trust him in a post season game. Against elite hitting line ups he can easily put the Astros in a large hole early in the game.
Keuchel is a Free Agent this offseason. Eta- LOL at no response for 8 minutes, then an avalanche of repsonses Still has a chance at having a good game. Although, I wouldn't bet on it now
I think they offer him a contract, but Boras will guide him elsewhere, and Luhnow will gladly take the draft pick (and draft pool allocation money). Probably will need one of the minor league guys to step up and be a BOTR contributor next year. Start with an opener next time or does that just push the bugaboo inning out to the second or third?
