Re: Dean Myer / SportsDean -
He's not credible if he claims a deal will happen "in a few days" or "before the training camp" for a player (Butler / Davis - really?) whereby Gordon is not part of the deal. You need Gordon's salary to match because players like Knight/Chriss can't be aggregated until 10/31/2018.

    Key Dates
    • 10/31/18 — No-package restriction lifts on Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss.
    • 10/31/18 — Team option on Marquese Chriss.
    • 12/15/18 — No-trade restriction lifts on James Ennis, Carmelo Anthony, Rob Gray and Michael Carter-Williams.
    • 1/10/19 — Michael Carter-Williams’ $1,757,429 guarantees for 2018-19.
    • 1/10/19 –Zhou Qi’s $1,378,242 guarantee for 2018-19.
    • 1/10/19 — Rob Gray, Gary Clark and Vincent Edwards’ $838,464 guarantees for 2018-19.
    • 1/15/19 — No-trade restrictions lift on Chris Paul and Clint Capela.

They left the Bahamas. There are at least three people who were in the Bahamas that are in the NY area: Morey, D'Antoni, Carmelo.

Morey posted the airport photo Friday afternoon. D'Antoni was at the Sirius XM studio (Rockefeller Center) talking to Frank Isola (ESPN) and Brian Scalabrine. Carmelo has been working out with Chris Brickley at Sky Lifefime Athletic (Manhattan).

Like I state in my original post, I think there is a case to be made for Oubre being available due to the circumstances in Washington. And to some degree Butler. But I DO NOT agree that Kawhi will be available or Winslow. I see no scenario where those GMs move those players. Sorry.

Didn't say we would get them. Did say they're on the radar and we're going to try. Standing offers on butler and kawhi now.

Is "Dean Myer" another Jopat pseudonym?

Standing offers on Butler and Kawhi now? BBH, that's very interesting. Any idea what the offers are?

"You should read my commentary on Capela. It is valuable. You just don't know it yet."

"Rockets won't make the playoffs with Clint Capela starting at Center"

Proceeds to move goal post like we didn't notice.

A friend of mine served DMo dinner at a popular spot in town the other night. DD’s dream is alive.

I wouldn't know. My feeling is minny most likely will hold Butler unless they get overwhelmed with an offer. I know they'd like to move Wiggins. And have tried. No takers.

Wiggins has negative trade value at this point.
