    Knight has been useless for them, so might as well switch him out with Ryno so they can Melton, their true prize. They just want to stack young talent to their young core and switching 1 useless player for another isn't a big cost.

    Honestly I don't either. Same thing with the Ariza signing. If they wanted Melton why not buy a second round pick and get him? Do they think him, Anderson, and Ariza have some secrets of how to be a good basketball team from being in our locker room?

    Damn, I hate that we gave up Melton, but sooooooooooo glad we got rid of Ryan Anderson. Good riddance!

    The Houston Rockets traded forward Ryan Anderson and guard De'Anthony Melton to the Phoenix Suns for guards Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight, league sources tell ESPN.

    The Rockets have been working to move Anderson, 30, for over a year. He has two years and $41 million left on his contract.

    Chriss was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, but hasn't come close to fulfilling his potential. Knight has two years and $30 million left on his contract, and missed last season with a torn ACL.

    The Suns are hopeful that Shaq Harrison could take a bigger role at point guard this season.

    Absolutely brilliant trade.

    All that talk of needing to attach two 1st rounders to dump Ryno. DM just did it for zero. Look, I get it: people are high on Melton, but he’s totally worth sacrificing to dump Ryno without attaching any draft picks.

    Knight can play. CP3 insurance.

    Chriss is a space cadet, but worth a flyer.

    Don't forget this : couple years ago when we signed Anderson and Gordon, the overall reaction is Anderson is a much better deal than Gordon because Gordon also had some very bad injury records in the pass.

    The Rockets have been working to move Anderson, 30, for over a year. He has two years and $41 million left on his contract.

    The Rockets are expected to trade Chriss and others for Jimmy Butler in the coming days.

    This 100% happened. They are good friends.

    Anderson was good for us until he lost his confidence. He'll bounce back for a coaching staff that believes in him.
