Qi's floor is the one he looks as his head goes through the ceiling. Too tall to fail.

I really like Joe! He's got great length obviously and a really good feel, he just needs confidence + teammates to look for him. he's got great defensive potential (I think he could develop into a switchable guy) and I think his jumper has improved, too.

I like him better than Hartenstein!

Qi needs to dye his hair like Rodman used to and start blocking 3 shots a game off the bench. Superstar if he does

I really have a hard time believing any regular Rockets fan would have any idea of how good the Chinese B team is compared to the Philippines, or really any other team participating in the Asian games for that matter.

    It's bizarre.
Only fans that have agendas against their own rookies.

We’ve had good rookies and bad ones since the beginning of the franchise
And I’ve been here since 1999
So go read all the people I think that were bad

By the way Zhou is better this summer than last
That’s based on me going to summer league

With all due respect, don't have to go to SL to see that he's improved. Any idiot with a TV can see that. Being here since 1999 doesn't make you more knowledge about the Rockets. Although I do admire your loyalty to the Rockets, some of us, most of us are on the same boat as you.

I've been going to summer league for as long as I can remember, and I've likely seen more games there than you have. Haven't missed a game since 2004.

What other mediocre Rocket rookies do you follow around from thread to thread? I can't think of even one example. It's weird, because you only go after Zhou. Yah suspect, and we all see it. It's like talking to holic about Clint Capela. You will never get anything but snide remarks that fit an agenda. Did you go after Carl Landry after his disastrous Summer League? (Not... a... word...) Holic isn't fan of the Rockets, he is a fan of his agenda and seeing it through to the bitter end. I'm starting to wonder If you fall into that boat too.

Zhou was way better than he was last summer league , but I haven’t heard you mention that.

He’s the latest Rocket player to play in real team competition this off season

So I guess Marc Gasol and Gobert are trash now right?

If Tim Duncan was a rookie in this draft class, nobody would draft him because he would want to clog the lane instead of chasing guards at the 3 pt line.

Not every team in the NBA is made up of five 3 pt shooters sure teams are shooting more but that doesn't mean they replace their lineup with 5 three point shooters. Only GSW can get away with their offense because thay have 4 all stars other teams need to have a balance between 3 pt shooting and paint shots. Even the Rockets have a lot of PnR in their offense if you can clog the paint these PnRs lose their effectiveness.

That's only because Warriors have 5 all stars on their team. If they were a nirnal team with just 1 or 2 stars you wouldn't need to switch like crazy because you want your best defenders on their best offensive players.

As we have seen in Ryan Anderson and the rest of the Rox players, these 3 pt snipers tend to be less accurate in the post season, Spurs were able to shut down the Rox 2 years ago despite not having any PF or C who could chase guards at the perimeter.
