2003 or so, a different bbs full court time, @Behad had reserved the gym at his neighborhood school, thirty or so of us were there, all age groups. I got to see @Rockets2K hit a full skyhook from the right corner of the 3-pt line with a guy in his face. Not everyone can do that. Before we went inside we got baked in the parking lot, and it took me 2 trips or so up and down the court for me to stop feeling lightheaded and my brain from going "WAHWAHWAH " Then I played really well. Made a couple of the greatest passes of my post-HS life, and I was just ****ing around at one point, got the ball checked back at the top of the key, so I took the shot, started waiting to run it back for real..."Uh, that was game point." I had no idea. Game 3 or so it was decreed that all the old guys (older than 30, which I thought was discriminatory), versus the youngsters. Youngsters ran us out of the gym.

I hit a 3 at some point in game 1, Kam took me down with the Bowen step-under-the-foot move as I'm wearing a Donjoy brace on my newly rebuilt knee, @Behad yelled from the sideline "AND THE FOUL". The Kam did block the everlivingsh!t out of one of my attempted layups later that day, I'll give him that. Good times, I liked Behad, who was gracious enough to set the whole thing up and invite us to his home. We ate very good BBQ on the back porch of his house after that. FattyFat was there, Hangout Boy and others....

Been on here since '98, I believe. I was member 433, I think? Had just got a job with internet on the computer and was obsessed with Barkley on the Rockets. I really thought we had the ammo to beat the Bulls.

Either way, even though in my guestimation I've been banned roughly 9 of the past 20 years, I still enjoy this community.
