Why not? Are you there for the music or to be jerked off by your friend?

Sure, why not. I have been to concerts solo because my wife isn't into heavy metal. Took her to Metallica twice and she fell asleep in her seat twice. Took her to Marilyn Manson and she went into hiding by the back. Now I leave her home

Is it Spanish music or music with Spanish lyrics? If the latter, what type of Latin music?

I do it all the time you don't even notice you are alone once you get into the show.

    You're an adult. Who cares?

That being said, unlike the movie thread, I personally think concerts are more enjoyable with other people you know. But you do you

Billy Idol is going to come out and they are going to shine a spotlight down on this person while Billy serenades him with "Dancing with Myself".

Hit the beer stand on the way in. After a few beers, the dude won't give a damn if he did before.

Went to a bunch of concerts by myself in the 2000’s as none of my friends liked the indie stuff I was into. It’s not like you talk to people during shows

Good grief. Go to the freakin' concert! Maybe pick up a chick while you're there. Do something useful. You can. I just know you can. Be brave! There's nothing like worming your way to the front of a concert and finding yourself next to a chick who's having just as great a time as you are, and is just as alone. Find out her name in those quiet moments that occur from time to time, and then find out if she'd like a drink after the concert. It's not Rocket Science, after all. Hell, I'm envious. (I admit to not knowing a damn thing about what you'd be going to see, but full speed ahead!)

Went to see Big Sean a few years back solo.

Had an even better time than I would have if my brother didn't flake out. I feel like the less distractions (for movies, concerts, public entertainments) the better the experience.

Sometimes it's best to not have to entertain other people with unnecessary conversation, when you're being entertained yourself. Not that I do it all the time... but in certain settings it makes the experience that much more enjoyable.

Now what were we talking about again?... jerking it in public right.
