You dare criticize my likings of things when you get a roux in a jar?

    No ma'am.

P.S. I also love those ****-inducing tacos from jack in the box.

Freebirds for "kitchen-sink" nachos, fast, cheap, and you get to pick all your toppings!

Interesting. Never thought of that place for Nachos. I'm doing that for lunch.

For Ducks in a Row, another off the radar nachos is Rudz. You'll be asking for more.

Great tator-tots, too, for that other thread.

    Kitchen sink for sure.

I like each chip to be just a little different from the last chip.

I would usually settle for Taco Cabana nachos in a pinch, but Chachos had the goods. So much lard. So great.

Strict adherence to proportionality is for the weak-minded.

I hope to one day consume 4 dimensional nachos using only my mind.

Neither...my auntie makes a hybrid 8 layer nacho bean dip WITH your choice of meat. I'm going iso ball and controlling every bite. Pull it hot out of oven, finish dressing it up, sit down with spoon and bag of chips. "Hey auntie"
I went ahead and voted kitchen sink style too.

Need details. What are her layers? What do you put on after it's out of the oven?

I haven't found a canned cheese I like or that reminds me of cheese taste-wise. What is that stuff? I suppose eating it 2 years after the expire (or best by) date won't really impact it. I mean...it's probably loaded with preservatives.

Proper, nachos etiquette behooves us to get your off-hand underneath the Kitchen Sink nachos, to avoid contaminating the pile by dribbling

Not sure of exact details Buck, its really close to a 7 layer dip though. Bottom of pan is always refried beans, layer of cheese, ground meat, diced jalapenos.

I tried the nachos at Freebirds today. It was very disappointing. Firstly, I hate places that have certain toppings that cost extra, but don't let you know that up front. One of my toppings was an extra 55 cents. I wouldn't have added it had I known beforehand. Also, $10 for nachos is pretty damn excessive.

Secondly, the meat was off. The beef fajita was so undercooked I had to spit several out. I made them aware, and they then added chicken which was completely overcooked. Whoever was manning the grill today sucked.

I went to the one on Shepherd. Hopefully other places have better folks at the grill.

Hey ease up on @Ziggy it ain't easy to work in an environment where fajita remnants get lodged in your gauged earring holes.

Had to ask if you knew anything I needed to know, that's a solid appetizer to make for a group.

Yall made me hungry early today, so I've been prepping grilled chicken parmigiana since about 11. Soon. Maybe nachos for lunch Sunday.
