    We obviously didn't offer Luc because we were saving our MLE for someone else. Who do you think we are saving it for? Melo after his buyout? Someone else?

    OKC will be paying Melo to go away. I really hope he isn't zoned-in on getting our MLE money. He wasn't last year when he was with the Knicks. He will get his, no need to double dip. This assumes Ferttita will actually pay for it all though...

    Signing Melo with MLE is bad idea, need to save that for later in season.

    Melo already getting paid by OKC, sign him to vet min so we can continue to improve team.

    Melo isn’t about winning if he takes the MLE as he’s already getting cashed the **** out by the Thunder.

    Signing him to the MLE is for next season. Also it's been implied that OKC and Houston have an agreement to sign him to the MLE.

    Melo doesn't deserve that much money as much as the Thunder are paying him to go away.

    I wonder if they don't use the MLE at all …. and that they fall below the tax line at some point before the end of the season to avoid the tax.


    If Ryno or EG were moved for less incoming salary ….

    The reason I believe this is their letting both Ariza and Luc walk because they were absolutely cost cutting / saving moves.
