    Not looking good so far but that is mainly to losing Ariza. If we get a good and younger replacement for him and re-sign Capela for a reasonable amount and Morey makes some shrewd moves, the off-season should be fine. But if getting guys like Michael Carter-Williams and this James Nunnally character is what he plans on doing then this will be a disastrous off-season, IMO. He needs to try to get someone like Tyreke Evans instead of these other dudes who are trash.

    Last year's offseason was an A+. But Morey doesn't get to carry that grade over to the next class.

    Straight-up, this offseason for Morey was an F. Our standards are pretty high because we've been spoiled, and that's what you deserve when you're that good.

    It's a little absurd to ask for a grade on an offseason after less than 72 hours. That's like grading a test that takes an hour after five minutes. Obviously that person is going to fail.

    Not only is grading/winning the offseason pointless, it is even more pointless when you try to do it 3 days in.

    Depth wise we got worse but I think Luc is able to mostly replace what Ariza did in the starting lineup. Otherwise we are mostly the same team with I'm sure more moves to make. Its definitely an incomplete for me. Lets see how much Capela ends up costing us and lets see what smaller moves Morey can make. He always does and it rarely happens on the first day because Morey is all about playing the leverage game which takes some time to play out.

    We can't toss out any grade yet. Let DM do his thing. Again, we have all the offseason advantages afforded a Championship team...with many more options than are being considered by most. Time IS on our side.

    INCOMPLETE.

    They get a participation ribbon for CP3 and GG.

    Not much left out there to improve the team via free agency , anything else is going to have to be via trade (aside from Capela) and teams aren't going to let big names walk to start the season , they'll wait and see what the landscape is in Jan/Feb.


    This roster wont be finalized until the trade deadline …. hopefully a big time player shakes loose and Morey can find a way to make it happen.

    only reason it’s not an F right now is because CP3 came back, but I knew he wasn’t going anywhere

    right now, I’d give it a D...we have gotten worse while other teams are getting better
