I don’t give a hoot about no boogie joining the warriors. He is going to be hurt.

    Rockets aren’t done yet anyways.

Rockets just need to remain healthy next year.

This is why we play the game. Not crowning anyone just yet.

Forget all the crybaby. That Ish is for the birds.

The best player on the planet had the opportunity to put an end to this “dynasty”. He chose not to.

Disappointed with the softness of the league right now.

I saw him last season when he played for the Bucks. No. The definition of a black hole. Better sign someone who may have worse talent but can pass.

He has talent? Dude seems like the definition of raw every time I see him play, and he's in his mid 20's now.

Please link sauce. All my readings counter the 8% and show most players to decline much more than that. And none of them are pushing 300lbs.

    thanx for the link.

I guess the difference is that Pelton put only the first years' decline. I think his stat makes more sense because it excludes the most the age decline.

I hope Cousins is like Bob Rule whoever that was, and is never the same.

This, I was quite confused to see so many here saying he'll be a shell and retire soon. Thanks for posting the numbers.

Do you really think a 20-10-4 guy declines to 18.5-9.2-3.6 guy after coming off Achilles (Made up stats for a visual). This isn’t the situation...

I am not afraid of boogie we would have beaten him and ad at his peak were it not for the refs shaving points of the scoreboard in that game when boogie injury happened

There needs to be a salary floor for all star players. That floor rises depending on player accolades, all nba selections and age etc. Example, 20 mil salary floor for a guy like cousins. 30 million floor for guys like LeBron, Steph, Durant etc. They absolutely should not be able to take massive pay cuts. This will help players get what they deserve and create more parity around the league. Only thing is how would washed up stars be paid. Someone like a Vince Carter who transcended from a superstar to a role player won't have the same salary floor he once had. Maybe make it apply to players on teams who hold their bird rights. Idk, something has to happen.

Not saying he'll post all-star numbers, but many ppl here acted like he'll be completely washed up and maybe retire soon.

Yeah, the guy is 27/28 yrs old. Hes gonna come back from this. Its not 1972. Its 2018. Sports medicine has come a long way. Im scared; all rockets fans should be. People here are underestimating how good Boogie is. He was the best center in the NBA before the injury.

Is there a more difficult injury for a 280lb man to come off of ?
