Easy ass group with Kazakhstan, Armenia, Romania, Montenegro and Denmark as the only true competitor. Poland successfully sneaked into the top pots, today Karma striked back.
I think they were on their peak two years ago in France and decreased since. Key players got older.

One good thing about the World Cup is that you don't really know who will come out on top. Can't say the same for the NBA.

While there is more uncertainty in soccer, a 7 game series in the NBA vs one out elimination stages in WC is the big reason.

The better team will generally come out on top in a seven game series while anything can happen if you play one-out.

You will like one out if you are the underdog while prefer a 7 game series if you are the better team.

It's a shame that the Uruguay-Russia game wasn't played earlier, it's meaningless for both teams today. I still hope the Russian dopers get their asses handed to them.

After they gave up 1, it's equal. It would appear, though, that winning the group isn't that important to them or Belgium. They're both into the next round and will play one of the teams from Group H...all are solid but none are great.

I know it would take a wild set of scenarios for mexico not to get through but I couldn't hope for anything more right now. Man, I would love to see them choke it away. I know it won't happen but that sure would be fun to see.

It's nice to see Russia get exposed by a real team in Uruguay. It was frustrating to see them have the largest goal differential in the tournament before Belgium and England played minnows.

Hard to believe that Ronaldo is already 33 - probably one more WC left.

I can't believe they scheduled both of these games at the exact same time... not even a 15 minute or so stagger.

Ronaldo is a lucky lucky man!

Could have been a red card for him.

You must do that so team can't throw games to manipulate the outcomes.
