houston can trade Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson and clint capela for Lebron james and Tristan Thompson the salary will match,... throw in 2 first round pick. for Cleveland, they can trade Clint capela for conditional or lottery protect first round without getting player back or some expiring contract and also they can trade Eric Gordon for 2nd round pick. essentially, Cleveland gets Ryan Anderson in exchange for Tristan Thompson. they paid few more million but get 2 to 3 first round pick and some 2nd round picks. for houston, they will get lebron james and Tristan thompson who will be play the same role as clint capela for less. this will be a win, win for both team and everyone involved. these trade may have to be in 2 stages, with lebron opt-in to the contract, trade for Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon, before june 29, 2018 and after July first 2018, Rocket sign Clint Capela and trade him to Cleveland for Trishtan Thompson. THESE WILL BE THE WIN, WIN FOR EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the end, we want everyone to be happy and everyone benefit. if Lebron leave Cleveland, Cleveland will be in rebuild mode, they don't need tristan thompson, or J.R. Smith. or Eric Gordon or even Clint Capela.... they can keep Clint Capela as part of rebuild if they want. or get Draft picks. during the trade deadline earlier this year, there was NO TAKER for Tristan Thompson or J.R. Smith. Cleveland gets Ryan Anderson who can shoot, in exchange for Tristan Thompson and get several draft picks back,.. Great deal for Cleveland.
Quick - everyone start a thread with their own hot take trade ideas! Multiple threads on the exact same subject - in fact, no one should comment anymore. Just start a new thread to comment on someone else's post. If this Yetti a-hole can do it, why shouldn't we all?
LBJ would want Capela instead and so would the Rockets. It's a lateral move for Cleveland and they get no picks so they wouldn't be interested. They might be interested in Ryno if they can get our 3 picks. They can move Love and Thompson and maybe Hill and pick up enough to make the losses neutral but Cleveland wants to get out of the tax and get assets. Cleveland would have to pay Capela the max and it would hamper them permanently. They need to rebuild through the draft and then when those assets reach maturity sign a FA or two and resign their guys. That's four years away when Capela's next contract would be up.
I want my 2 minutes back. What a stupid idea. Yeah let's just have rhyno and Kevin love stand at the 3 point line while Calderon and Eric Gordon are in the backcourt.
As long as he don't sign an offer sheet with another team you can agree to sign and trade him. He can get offers but as long as he don't sign it.
